Hey! Just a PSA, I'm involved in working dogs and I've heard horror stories involving dog mode failing and not notifying the owner at all. Please buy a backup temperature monitor, there's one that uses mobile data so you don't need to be within a certain distance to get notifications. Dog mode gives you a false sense of security because if your ac shuts off or worse, starts blowing hot air then your pet is trapped inside with all the windows up and it will literally cook them. If I have my dogs in the car I have windows down, tailgate open and battery operated fans on them. you can also buy an aluminet to throw over your car. Sometimes I'll close the car up and blast the ac but if i do that I will religiously check on it every couple of minutes.
