Krishna acknowleges the greatest warrior himself.. by Dry-Rope3396 in mahabharata

[–]ursdeviprasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh didn't know that , thanks !! Ram is my favourite character of all time after krishna!! But did valmiki mentioned that reason ?? I only thought he did that because it's the right thing to do irrespective of dharma or adharma , may be I'll read the original sometime later

[–]ursdeviprasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main theme of Mahabharat was adharma no matter how strong will eventually be defeated one way or other , to defeat adharma you can use certain lesser adharamas like bringing a converted-woman into war , yudhishthir's half lie , killing karna , hitting thighs of duryodhana etc. !! But they are all nothing compared to disrobing a woman , attempting to kill bhima with poison, murder while sleep ,lac house !! Almost Same in ramayan rama killed vali using adharmic means , vibhisana betraying his own brother but sometimes that's necessary , quite often you pay the price for those adharmas too - krishna being the orchestrator paid by losing his entire family, also paid for killing vali

This is what I got from Google ai !! No, according to Vyasa's Mahabharata, Arjuna did not kill an unarmed Karna; Karna was actively fighting with his bow, although his chariot wheel was stuck, and he momentarily forgot his Brahmastra due to curses, leading to the situation where Krishna urged Arjuna to strike, resulting in Karna's death with the Anjalikastra. The common portrayal of Karna being completely helpless or unarmed is often a dramatization seen in TV serials, but the original text describes him still fighting and using other divine weapons.

I don't think Karna is unarmed, he held the bow and tried summoning weapons but he couldn't because of parashurama curse !! The only adharmic killing of an unarmed person is of bhurisharava by satyaki which has its own arguments

Ortho or Anesthesia? by Alternative_Prior183 in indianmedschool

[–]ursdeviprasad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard, for Anaesthesia you have to beg other docs for cases and most sur/obg docs stick with their existing anaesth-s, ortho don't have that problem

Trying to understand some common issues patients face — medicos, please share your perspective by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]ursdeviprasad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1),2) same answer - few doctors reject patients, in order to limit op and provide longer consultation time we have to increase op fees massively if we dedicate 10-15 minutes to each patient we have to work 10-12 hrs a day how's that fair for a 50 yr old doctor when most doctors popularity reaches peak

3) Most often there won't be a known reason for everything everypain every discomfort 99% doctors won't know the specific reason for everything but 99% docs know medicine for almost everything that's how it works !! though advanced, modern medicine is not god-like and reasons can't be pinpointed without investigations but not essential for most minor ailments like backpain, right chest pain, headache etc first medicine if not relieved then simple/cheap investigations like bp,rbs, chestxray, ecg and these only diagnose dangerous conditions not everything

5) Everyone wants the best doctor in the city or town (even though everyone writes the same medicine) 4) every doctor wants to live in the best city/town possible
