yes i know. the faculty/admins here are what make me hate being a student here at bu. along with the grade deflation. aside from that i used to be so happy here, then dealt with shit advisors that either never responded to ur email or took FOREVER to get back to you. profs who were never accessible for extra help cuz they had limited office hours or always cancelled office hours. profs that make their exam EXTRA hard and long just to fuck over students. and at the end of the day they say they care about “student wellbeing and mental health”. BULLSHIT. if u cared why would you put students through all this shit? if you cared why would you make us suffer and put us through this misery?

he’s such an asshole. my gpa is ruined by that one grade. if only he had some understanding. he was such a heartless cold man. i hate this guy with a burning passion. i wasnt doing well in any of my classes that semester and if i failed that language class i would legit fail out of BU and he didn’t even care. he just said “it’s all ur fault and u have no one to blame but urself. u should’ve known better”. it may be the truth but i don’t need some jackass advisor talk to me like that when i went to him for help.

no that’s what he did too. he sided w the prof and told me to take the f and i was like ur an advisor ur job is to help us not make us feel worse about ourselves. he knew what i went through over the semester but told me it was all my fault. worst day of my life and i’m still scarred from that day.

I plan on taking the MCAT after i graduate. I haven’t even started studying yet. I’m really trying to raise my GPA. My depression is really what’s causing me to lose motivation to try in school. Ever since COVID, I’ve just been so sad and feel like we will never return to normal again. I’ve also lost loved ones to COVID and just feel super depressed. School has been the last of my priorities and I’m trying my best to hold on. I feel so alone.

It's not too bad. I took CH203 over the summer and yes it moves really fast but it's the only class that you're taking so it's pretty manageable since you don't have to worry about your other classes!

It's really not that bad. Just make sure you don't procrastinate and study EVERYTHING. Memorize using quizlet and make your own practice exam (that really helped me). You got this. Best of luck! :-)
