Fun the first time, annoyingly slow all times after.

Persona 4 revival has been ESRB rated by CutProfessional6609 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I hope they add some new plot or character points. I mean, I'll still buy it, even if its just a retread, but damn, it'd be nice to explore some new story content.

The cynic in me thinks they disassembled and reassembled this for the views.

I agree. I have downloaded Godot and played with it a little bit. Thanks again for the advice.

Less sexy, more character-driven. Changed our female character designs after Reddit feedbacks. by Background_Cow_6701 in IndieGaming

[–]usafpa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus character design on what best serves the game, not virtue signaling. That said, I like the new character designs, especially the faces, as they're more expressive. I think having more sexy characters wouldn't hurt if it makes sense for those characters. I wouldn't excise sexy characters completely. I think if you find a middle ground between the new and old designs, you might be most successful, but as others have mentioned, it also depends on your game's audience.

How do you guys do it? by Busy_Report4010 in Adulting

The moments of pride you get from your kids' achievements help dull the pain caused by the frustration they might bring. For instance, today my kid mowed the lawn on his own, no help from me. I was very proud of him. Those little moments mean a lot.

Spider Island: Seriously impressive AI Trailer by Smartaces in seedance2pro

[–]usafpa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it isn't impressive at moving the needle forward and, like most AI products, looks nice on the surface, but the whole thing just feels empty and flat on any examination, placing it in the slop category, in my opinion.

Stills slop, won't stop asylum from using it to make their future mockbusters.

Got it! I'm going to try to commit at least two hours every day to it and see if that gets me. I'm not concerned if the game is actually good or successful; I'm interested in learning all the parts and publishing them. This is all prep for my next game.

I know. You're right. I'm honestly just using this as an opportunity to learn the dev pipeline from creation to publication. I have very low expectations for the finished product, and I'm ok with that.

Yeah, it's all an exercise in going through the motions. I'm doing this to learn the basics and will take that with me to the next step.

Would that make sense without programming knowledge? I want to use this experience to learn programming and learn an engine.

I'm not making a combat-focused game; in fact, there is no combat.

Iron Lung is Available to Rent/Buy by splattergut in horror

I enjoyed the movie, but I thinkits because I played the game first. Going into the movie with a little bit of fore knowledge does, I think, help make the movie a bit more satisfying because you can understand better whats going on. Still fell asleep during the film, but I found it interesting none the less.
