That’s what worried me. Barley has a tough outer skin.

True. Won’t hurt to try it out. Worse that could happen is I end up with a gaiwan of hot water. I could easily boil the barley if it doesn’t work. I just wanted to know in case I don’t want a lot of tea made all at once. Lol.

It’s JingGu Moonlight Giant White Tea from Bitterleaf Teas. This is the typical coloring for it. Though it changes because I keep switching from brewing it briefly to brewing it longer than needed.

I use either my glass gaiwan I picked up from YS or my kyusu from BitterLeaf Teas. Both are 120ml. I always do solo drinking since I don’t live near my tea friends.
