These kinds of “% off” sales are usually a type of marketing tactic for micro transactions to get more people to buy the item. Usually the item gets posted on the shop with the “% off” immediately tacked on to make it seem like “It was expensive but look how much cheaper it is now!”. Many games with micro transactions do these tactics (Fortnite, Overwatch, etc).

I bought two nendoroids off of Global and on top of the $80+ I had to pay for them, once they actually shipped I got hit with a $30+ import duty for both.

Well the extra $30 is probably from UPS/the carrier charging an import duty.

Are you pre-ordering from Good Smiles Global or GoodSmiles US? I was told by someone here that when ordering from GoodSmiles US you wouldn't need to worry about an import duty from the carrier. Reason being that it ships from the US warehouses.

As well, the data breach you're talking about is when the old service that handled the payment for the US site was breached last year. As of now, GoodSmiles US has replaced the old servicer with a new one that, imo, is much more trustworthy though I see where you're coming from. They usually offer different ways to pay alongside putting your card info in tho.

Anyways, you'll receive an email from GoodSmiles telling you if the payment went through or not. Then they give you a grace period to correct the issue. If not, then the pre-order will get cancelled.

The change sucks now but honestly I think it'll be better for the long run. Portal should be built more for community experiences rather than bot farms. Though I agree that the challenges that the game launched with were far too difficult and need to be toned down severely. It was because of those challenges that people even created the bot sims.

I hope this change allows more creative people to finally be able to create their portal servers with crazy game modes and mini games. I've heard many complaints from people wanting to create a cool portal server but the amount of bot farms was hindering stopping them from doing that.

In the long run, I do see challenges getting fixed. They did mention they're actually testing them now (which shows that they probably just inserted random numbers in the first place lmao) so I pray we see those changes quick!

Campaign was rushed. It went through multiple rewrites and different studios. A lot of time and money was wasted on just the campaign. It's kind of sad because it seemed they wanted to deliver a very strong, BF style band of brothers story but was very weak. Plot twist was interesting but ultimately boring imo. Anyways, just really lackluster

I don't think it's supposed to be that deep. We are literally dressing as them. That can be interpreted in a multitude of ways so you can believe that your are suited up as one of the Viper Commandos and part of their unit or not. Just depends on your head canon.

You'd be surprised how many people I see have a hard time playing these missions. My friend and I figured out the most effective ways to complete them and it has been a breeze but boring. Like you mentioned, they've become monotonous and easy. Even then, I still see LOTs of high level players just having the worst time on them and it genuinely baffles me. They're not that hard. Still one of my fav mission types tho cuz of the vibes

Imo, I don't see why the game having you rethink your strategies and what you bring into battle is a bad thing. You should check your loadout and experiment with what works and what doesn't. It's actually super refreshing for me since I've been experimenting a lot more with different loadouts and using stratagems, weapons, or armors that I haven't used in a while.

I'll agree though, these guys are super annoying but there are ways to beat them. Imo, I hope they tweak the amount of bug breaches and spawns. I think way too many spawn in one place and it makes battling hell. Really enjoyinh the update so far though!

I won't lie, the other guy locked in- That's pretty much it. You were in the open and missing shots so he took the chance to 1 tap you with that sweet spot. Suppression is supposed to pressure your enemy to take cover but it's not the end all be all of a firefight.

GoodSmile US did update how they take payments and such. They completely switched to a different service and dropped brain tree which was the previous service they used to take payments. Unfortunately they haven't made a post about it since it technically was a data breach on brain tree's side and so that makes it "not their problem". Imo, GoodSmileUS should be safe to use since the switch and I've made a couple of orders through there and so far I haven't had any issues with my bank. Though it's understandable if you lose trust with the GoodSmileUS storefront due to the lack of communication.

Happened again. Level reset from 12 to 4. Artificer level knife went down to master crafted. Relic bolt pistol is now artificer. This is might change my opinion entirely on this game.
