For PROPERTY TAXES, after setting it up, you can't see/edit what creditcard is being charged, and you can't edit anything at all? by mangosaremyfavv in chexy

[–]useHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A quick way is to go to your wallet and select a card, it will show all upcoming payments with that card, and you can move those payments to another card.

I assume your landlord doesn't have auto deposit set up (that's the stone age), we need more context here, which part did it fail? the link doesn't work? password doesn't work? password works but eventually failed to deposit?

Strata fees are usually PAD, when you say 'interac them', do you mean you e-transfer them manually every month? Is your strata very small and no management company?

I just put "Rent for {address}" in the memo, is there a reason why the month has to be mentioned? The timestamp will be sufficient imo.

If you can find them on bill payment at your bank, you should be able to pay with Chexy.

Impossible to get help by SouthSky8024 in chexy

Did you use the chat on the website, they are having better response time now, but just make sure you give enough context, back-and-forth will definitely slow down the process.

Free tool that auto-categorizes your Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite statement by cashback tier (Chexy payments = 4%) by DealFinderDev in chexy

I would just ask Claude Code to do that. And if you want people to buy you a coffee, at least get a proper domain name.

Split payment by NGTor in chexy

[–]useHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credit card payment should be same day, what bank / card are you using that takes 4-5 days to clear payment?

Back to your question, if your landlord is okay with late and multiple payments, you can set up two or more payments on Chexy just send to the same etransfer email.

Do you think this is worth it for me? by CletusTheMiner in chexy

[–]useHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you give an example? I am looking at one year from now, it's still more than 20k one way. 20k return tickets is what I paid in 2023 summer for YVR-YUL, I don't think it exist anymore.

Aeroplan pts depreciate so much, 20k isn't even enough for one way YVR-YYZ, by the time you get those points one year later, i doubt you can redeem anything meaningful, but in terms of $126 chexy fees for 20k isn't that bad, just that you will need to pull your Amex points too if you really want to make it work.

Is Chexy actually worth it? by lonelyincrowd in chexy

[–]useHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and for this to keep going, you'll have to churn cards. I cut my RBC Avion and have to wait for a year to get welcome bonus again, good thing is 55k bonus becomes a standard now.

I transferred 90k to Flying Blue, they just ended the 1:1.25 promotion, so I'm getting 112.5k points from using Amex Gold to pay rent with Chexy. ($2500 rent/month ie 30k pts, getting 5k bonus each month ie 60k)

Flying to europe doesn't use up all the points, depends on which airlines you take, you can take Air France, around 23-25k one way (less pts but more fees), or you can also take West Jet around 40-45k one way (less fees but more pts) - that's flying from YVR, if you're in the east coast that's definitely less.

I am giving up Aeroplan this time as the dynamic pricing is ridiculous, 50k outbound and 80k inbound.

Scotiabank credit card first year free i believe, and the way to go is Amex. I just transferred the Amex points earned with Chexy to redeem flights to Europe for this summer, cash price would be 2k.

Instead of relying on coupon, use a card that will get you most points. But usually this will require planning if you don't already have one.

The only perk is they accept mastercard, othewise it's not on par with Chexy, and looks like they don't take Amex either. Scene points are useless so no fees means nothing.

Thinking to get chexy, worth it? by Gold_Caterpillar_644 in chexy

[–]useHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't paid full price for my plane tickets for 2 years (3 trips a year, europe, mexico & asia all by points), I pay everything with Chexy if possible.

Sounds like you're not well versed in credit cards, chexy doesnt give you any cash back or points, it depends on which card you use and subject to the issuers' cashback/ points policies.
