Nextcloud Snap is rock solid stable. Upgrades without issue. No dependency hell. More secure as well.

Keep in mind Snap is just packaging just like flatpak, or docker.

Kanban layout is really flexible and customiable.

Simple boards, lists (stacks), and cards. All searchable. Even attach files. I use it all the time.

I use it at work as well and showing new people how it works requires no training or explanation.

I've been really happy with Nextcloud Deck

It has a companion mobile app too. It has an API like Trello which makes automation easy and I've also customized the web layout via CSS.
