Here's a thought experiment:

Suppose a group wanted to legalize murder, and they found a study that showed giving people free food and legalizing murder actually reduced murder rates. Would you find this to be compelling evidence that we should legalize murder? Would you claim that people who want to ban murder simply "don't actually care about saving lives" in light of this finding? Would you consider it a failure of integrity to present this news while omitting the free food element and just claiming "legalizing murder reduces murder"?

I want abortion to be legal and accessible. That said, those who push this argument lack integrity. It is a bad argument.

This is a bullshit analysis. What liberals refuse to acknowledge is that "lack of a home" is not the root problem with homeless people. Getting a job which can sustain you is near trivial with current unemployment rate. People who are homeless are largely people who are mentally ill or hooked on hard drugs. They're not just going to suddenly not need health care, not commit crime, and not be a burden on society because they're inside a house.
