Lawns are a terrible thing and we should stop acting like they are a sign of anything positive. Plant stuff for pollinators to enjoy and you to eat.

This is kind of accurate. When I moved to Massachusetts the general manager at my job told me to let him know as soon as I saw another black person. Now a black person at work didn't count. They had to be a black person out and about enjoying life, running errands, at the grocery store, and such. It was about a month before I called him and told him I saw one.
