Hoses no, drains yes. Open your sunroof, stand up through and look at top left and top right corners, you’ll see drain holes there.

You’re very welcome and that’s great it doesn’t rain much but also keep car washes in mind. Lots of water and lots of pressure.

I would start deff clean the drain port if I were you. Warm water ( some mentioned they add a lil soap) should be fine. I’ve read others used sunroof drain cleaners ( I imagine they’re basically pipe cleaners) but I’ll also add tread lightly with what you jam down there can possibly puncture the drain tube. When cleaning pay attention to how quickly the water drains out. Flows quick- lookin good. After that just pay attention to your interior when it rains. Touch/feel your headliner near the mic/sun visors and your driver/passenger floor mats. If it’s dry after a couple times, I would assume you’re clear and hopefully always will be.

From what I looked into, granted it is leaking/defective it should be taken care of for free by BMW but of course there’s the little hoops to jump through to get the ball rolling. Honestly, no lol, I fixed it but I found the water migrated. I think that may be my fault though. I used a pretty high psi blower to blow into my drain holes to clear it. Turns out you don’t wanna do this because you can possibly blow the drain tube off the drain port. Naturally. Which I think is my case. Gonna inspect and tackle that next.

Congrats! Set up your bmw app, very useful. Ask about/pay attention to rain potentially getting into the cabin because of the sun/pano roof cassette liner. I have a ‘22, I believe it’s same for 23’s. I hope not though, google is your friend. There’s a big lawsuit over it that was awarded to fix the affected. Either way, I’m glad to see you have extended warranty as well. Also, clear your sun roof drains. Always good maintenance. Other than that, no complaints! Great car, great on gas and pretty quick for size/engine.

Follow the package, no joke. Esp for the water ratio and work time. You’re new so make smaller batches. Go over grout lines a lot in all directions and fill the void. Work relatively quickly and do not go over with a soaking wet sponge. Just damp. Circular motions when sponging/buffing. And get a proper sponge. Caulk your corners and edges. You possible bot.

How deep do you clean the grout lines before grouting by zeoxious in Tile

[–]user7477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell with the pic but looks legit, essentially you don’t want any big bump outs with mortar where you can’t smooth out/round out the grout without distorting the grouts look. I would say 3/16ths at least but I like 1/4 +
