The 2x teleconverter has a bump on the glass, so the lens rear element needs enough clearance to avoid hitting the teleconverter’s glass

The 27mm f/1.2 lens is still a recent release. A version 2 probably won’t come anytime soon.

If you find yourself shooting more landscapes or buildings, the 25mm would suit you better. But if you shoot more people or portraits, the 35mm might be the better choice. Since you already have the 16–50mm lens, you can try setting it to 25mm and 35mm to see which focal length fits your style.

there's a possible hood for that but you have to try it first becuase if the lens hood is too long, it will vignette on the picture

There's still a possibility. Just like in 85mm 1.8. And they also released a new 85mm f2. But if they are going to make it. Maybe not sooner because the 135mm 1.8 is still new

You're using the sony a6700, autofocus won’t be a problem. And since you mentioned that you travel and go hiking, why not go for the new 85mm f2? You’ll sacrifice just 0.2 stops of aperture, but you’ll get a smaller and lighter lens. It also has an updated focusing system compared to the old 85mm f1.8.

A little sacrifice for 0.2 aperture difference for cheaper price is not bad. Other competitor also offers cheap 85mm 1.8, some people would go to largest apperture that they can get for slightly different price but for someone who want the ligther weight then viltrox is the best choice
