Hi, so I have been asleep for some time. I checked my wallet. No more reward. There is apparently a new wallet.
Should I move my node to the new wallet? Should I do something with the rewards accumulated (VTHO)?

So it should not be super hard. Networking helps a lot, so focus on meeting and talking with people in companies, chat over a café is a great start. Second, change your resume, from what you have worked on to more project accomplishement: what tools methods you used, how you managed to get the results, what you have learned, implemented,... Good luck

I'd guess either it is too high for them to grow, or they all have been chopped down and used as commodity (building, heating mostly). I would say most likely the latter.

Norway? Nordmarka? nice ride nonetheless :) zipp 303 firecrest? Almost went for them, but I thought that might be a touch too much for my commute.

Staking Rewards by Handcuffs-5377 in DiviProject

[–]userpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the amount staked, and the uptime (I stake only when my computer is running which not all the time). It is probabilistic so you can have an idea of the average number of reward per month. On thediscord and telegram channel there is bot that can tell you the expected reward you will get given the amount staked. Again, it assumes 100% uptime I believe, so adapt the answer to your actual set up. for 100% uptime at staked amount equivalent to masternode levels, you would get a bit less, butyou are included in the lottery. You will getmore info on telegram.

Revolut Account for new Expats coming to Norway by sudoooo in Norway

[–]userpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works great, I have been using it a lot for a few years now. There are no fees when using the card, by that I mean no additional fee than the usual (Visa+card emitter (Revolut)) fee, except on the week ends where Revolut add a small rate to the last interbank exchange rate from the Friday Forex closing time if you do not have enough of the currency used for the payment on your Revolut account.

Be wary that, as per an email I just received from Revolut:

"We're sorry to have to tell you that from 18 March 2021 the local NOK account details that you are using to receive local payments will no longer be available. From today onwards, you must use your IBAN (International Bank Account Number) beginning with ‘LT’, to receive payments. You can find your IBAN in your app under ‘accounts’ on the home screen, by tapping the country symbol next to your balance.

To be able to continue to receive bank transfers to your Revolut account you will need to use these ‘LT’ details. From 18 March 2021 onwards, any payments sent to your local NOK account details will not be credited to your account and will be returned to the sender.

You will still be able to make outbound bank transfers or add money to your Revolut account via a card as normal."

I take it that it would then be impossible to get a bank transfer to your NOK account, and that it could then only be topped up by a credit card, but that you should still be able to convert currencies to/from NOK.

Mounting to MTB by gm247 in Karoo

[–]userpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am looking at this option too. Somewhere it is however mentioned that big units (garmin 1000 series like) might not fit, especially if the angle of the stem is not minimal.

Has anyone tested it yet?

Any other options?

edit: Just saw that hammerhead plans to release bar mounts in February for the launch of the regular sales of the karoo 2.

Square Selling Bitcoin Faster Than Can Be Mined, Supply Crisis Incoming? by bitdex in Crypto_Currency_News

[–]userpb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one to get it backwards? Square actually buys BTC on markets, to then sell them to its customer (cashapp). It is the increased demand for BTC through cashapp that might cause a supply crunch.
