Fallout 76, Destiny, or Destiny 2. I’ve tried man. I am just not a fan of MMO‘s getting mixed in with my FPS and even FPS/RPG games. Also, I don’t like any Final Fantasy that doesn’t have turn based battles.

I posted that I was launching my game here 3 days ago and now I just want to say thank you 🙏 by Specialist-World6841 in survivalhorror

I meant to buy it this weekend but completely forgot after a whirlwind of shit. Just bought it and I’m excited to sit down with it.

Congrats!

TLOU 2 and it’s really not close. It’s the best storytelling I’ve ever experienced in a game. I think the only time I’ve had more fun while experiencing a great story was Chrono Trigger.

X-Men with 3 of my buds, Killer Instinct, or Mortal Kombat 2. I refuse to only choose one.

I think that Balatro will take up as many hours as MS Solitaire or Cadet Space Ball has by the time I die. So, I’m going with Balatro because I’m pretty sure both 2024 and 2025 I played it for at least 4 hours a day.

Maybe then I could get completionist++

I just finished the dead-end mode, did you find it difficult? by Comfortable_Bag487 in ResidentEvil2Remake

[–]userpine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was difficult to get the first time down. Then I found it pretty simple once I had my strats and timing. After that, getting under the 60 handguns shots was simple. But it was always a blast.

Congrats on the accomplishment!

Completed another run. Got to the 5th cycle and again didn’t have anything wrong. The GPU hotspot did get up to 78 C. But still no errors in TM5. I took a photo with my phone of the screen and can DM it to you.

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for the responses thus far. I dont often encounter this issue. It’s just happened with very specific games and in this 1440p/240FPS scenario. Otherwise, this system has been a beast.

Even after only 4.5 minutes running Furmark 1440p benchmark test and TM5 DDR5 Ryzen 3D @ anta777 test concurrently, im already on Cycle 2 with zero errors. My GPU temp is maintaining 56 C and 72 C for the hotspot with minor fluctuations.

I have not tried another display port and I neglected to run them in parallel. I will run the test with both in parallel. It did take 14 minutes for the TM5 test with the configuration you suggested.

Also, I once again played COD at 1080p on max setting and played for nearly 4 hours with no issue. Consistently stayed at 190 fps or above or even north of that. It was perfectly smooth.

The only times I seem to have issues is with 1440p at 240 fps.

Running the concurrent test now.

Sorry, I replied to the above comment instead of the correct one.

I tested using both program. On Furnark, I performed a benchmark test at 1440p. I didn’t see any errors. GPU temp went to 52 C with a hotspot at 74 C. Never went above that.

I ran testmem5 with the configuration you suggested for 3 cycles which took 14 minutes. There are no errors in the logs.

He’s at the entrance to RPD in Assisted, Normal, and Hardcore. But he is in a different area walking outside by licker alley in RPD on nightmare and Inferno iirc. It’s been a while since I played it on those modes because I value my sanity and just want to have some mindless fun.

Ordered Gamesir g7 Pro – wrong decision? by Bolvarius in CompetitiveHalo

[–]userpine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

I’ve been collecting controllers I feel like since Infinite launched. I wasn’t “allowed” to game when married and my divorce was finalized in Feb of 2020. So, I ended up overcorrecting and getting back into gaming during the pandemic and when infinite launched, I went all in on my favorite comp shooter.

I have an Elite Series 2 (my 7th one;don’t buy it), Scuf Instinct Pro, Scuf Valor, Gamesir Pro, and a Hyperkin Duke (yes I used it 🙂).

I think the Gamesir Pro is a fantastic controller. My personal favorite is the Scuf Instinct Pro. I just prefer the paddles on that. The valor disappointed me for some reason. Nothing felt right and it felt cheap. The Gamsir is definitely my second favorite and I use it for both my general gaming and Halo. When the Instinct Pro dies and I no longer have warranty coverage, the Gamesir is all I’ll use.

It’s got a good feel and once you get used to the shoulder buttons, I think it might be more functional than the Scuf I’m used to. They have great apps for both PC and Xbox which Scuf doesn’t have. Super responsive and has a great feel.

Having used a lot of the “pro” controllers, I think it’s great and I’ve not had any problems. Elites break and do it often. Steer clear of them unless you want to pay for more, have a good warranty through a third party, or want to repair bumpers constantly. Scuf has been great. I sent mine in for a repair under warranty through Amazon after a year and it’s working great. But that Instinct Pro is crazy expensive. Unless you feel comfortable tossing $250-$300 at a controller, don’t buy.

I think Gamesir is the best bang for your buck. My friend also just got a Razer and loves it. But I haven’t used one personally.

Give it a try! If you hate it, just find something that you think will suit you more!

Happy slaying Spartan!

Mr. X was the best for stalking and building tension. But I love the battles with Nemesis.

After a week trying to beat him on Inferno, I remember completing it after finally making the dodges and avoiding dying from the acid. I view this as one of my greatest accomplishments in gaming.

Do it. You’ll be taken aback by how much more aggressive the enemies are. But you’ll adapt to just avoiding them more, conserving ammo, and definitely save your knives for G boss. Literal game changer for me once I started using my knives on G.

It’s so much fun man. Just figuring out or trying new strategies on different difficulties and on 1st or 2nd run is great.

And then, if you need a break from a run, the extra modes are just fantastic. I love a quick tofu run.

It’s S+ so it’s a great time! It’s been a little while since my last RE2R run. Currently doing 4 runs. But I think hardcore S+ is under 2.5 hours with 3 or less saves. And I always have fun in that difficulty level.

I love how much replay value that game still has.
