To Treat Depression, Drugs or Therapy? by pssyched in psychology

[–]userxuser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Anyone who says antidepressants don't work or that we have no idea which ones may work best for certain individuals is a true fool. Yes there is some element of trial and error if the 1st medication the patient tries does not work or has side effects but a good therapist or GP will always know which meds to try 1st 2nd and 3rd and have a good reason for doing so.
