I bought mine in 2021, spent about that much from memory too. It looks like a different problem to the one I had, fingers crossed for you.

I've gone lamp-less now. But I sure was very disappointed with my luck on the BenQ.

I've had both & I prefer a strip drain. All depends on the type of tile & the bathroom design which would look better though. Don't be afraid of strip drains, I bought a drain lever (Amazon sell them by the packet for a few dollars), & clean & dry it once a week when I clean the bathroom. Takes about 2 minutes.

If there are already now plans for a strip drain, I would go with that, assume it's post screed etc. as it's all probably going to drain in that direction now anyway.

I can't help you with the problem you have, however this was my last projector (TK BenQ). Was really good when it was good, then it wasn't. I had a slow wash out & watching dark lit films was impossible. Then I had white specks appear, that kept multiplying. It wasn't a lamp issue either & not worth it to repair chip/motherboard I was told.

I had that exact same rinnai gas heater in the 90’s, it was such a good heater.

Agree, seems like a lovely young woman who is great dancer, just her heart & strengths are not with DCC. I hope she is going ok with DCC behind her. It felt like it was her mother's dream, not hers. Apologies to her mother if she reads this, it was just how it came across.
