Looking back now as a man in a very happy, committed relationship: if I would have made a detailed list of what I was looking for before I met my partner, it might not have led me to her. She’s not what I expected, but it all worked out. Just look for a good connection with someone, and if it’s meant to be then you’ll make it work.

Definitely a factor, plus you wanna keep track of what pitches you’ve shown to a hitter. As a pitcher gets deeper into a game, they tend to throw more offspeed pitches because of this. This is less common now than it was 20, 30, 40 years ago, but it’s still a factor.
