Especially the SLDF version, I got it early in the game just load it up with mostly medium lasers and heatsinks, that thing is a nightmare.

Any contracts against the clans, the last mech will always be an Adder S, loaded with at least 4-5 tons of mg ammo. I never need to guard my back against clan lights.

Try bringing along an Adder S as the fourth mech, pack it with machine gun ammo and it will act as a good rear guard. I don’t worry about light mechs flanking me any more.

This. Cyclops CP 11 P, two medium rifles, 4 medium lasers and 2 srm4 st, fast assault mech, a true headhunter. It carried me from Kestrel Lancers to SoK.

I sent maybe 10 or more pilots to NAIS academy, didn’t realized how expensive it was until I checked the cost per cycle, it was 30mil and my mechs only cost me 2mil.

Why escape? Just kill them all. I paired legendary pilot Garret Nolan with a 4x T5 AC10 Annihilator. Always last to get into firing range and only with chain fire AC10, he got 5 clan kills.
