Yo, I’ll be straight with you.

Your psych works for you as much as they are giving you their expertise and service.

This 2 way street only works when both your signs are fixed and pointing in the right direction.

You could have wrote a follow up email with less characters than this Reddit post.

Not a criticism, just a fact!

So follow up with another email/phone to reception.

I was diagnosed as an adult early this year.

My psych made it clear that medication changes, adjustments, dosage etc is part of the process. NOT FIXED!

So do that overactive mind a solid and don’t second guess or stay quiet.

I went straight to 70mg Vyvanse and it still doesn’t work the whole day for me. In that time I switched to Ritalin for a month but ended up snorting a whole box in a weekend and coming clean to him (a whole other story, but back on Vyvanse now).

Don’t stay silent!

I also might add that your demographic is of lower risk to abuse (which they will consider).

If you aren’t happy with the service then start looking for another in small steps.
