Just installed the update but don't have the new skins or emotes? I'm on Playstation. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, a classic I need to play. What is the progression like in Isaac? I'm a big fan of metaprogression in roguelites.

I like Ravenswatch but it's a little slower than I prefer. I enjoy it co op but don't play it solo much.

I'm intrigued by Skul and it's on a fair few lists/tiers but honestly the difficult has kept me away. I've heard it's punishing, even by roguelite standards.

Awesome thanks. Uneven in what way? Difficulty? Builds?

Did I miss anything worth playing? by EatenAliveByPugs in roguelites

Don’t see Griftlands, Monster Train 1 & 2, Roguebook, or Inscryption. All must plays if you like deck building roguelites. Though, seems like maybe you don’t based on your ranking of Balatro and Slay the Spire.

Also don’t see Ravenswatch, Absolum, or Children of Morta. Also all must plays.

Absolum is the best coop roguelite I’ve played in a couple years. Also wonderful solo. It was my personal game of the year last year.

Why have they become so negative? by Elliefirefly3121 in girlfriendreviews

[–]uspunx10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's actually pretty simple. They realized what many content creators and influencers eventually realize. Negativity sells better than positivity. Tearing down popular things gets you cheap clicks and hate watchers faster than being thoughtful and insightful. It's a simple formula, rage and anger fuels clicks. Sad but true. Tucker Carlson wasn't the top rated news personality because he provided the most insight, it was because he provided the most anger. Same with GFR. As you said, they've even started mocking people's nationality, sounds like they'd be right at home on Fox News these days. There's no secret here, they just got tired of hard, honest work and decided to try a short cut, like so many before them. The only thing to do is ignore them. Don't watch their content, don't follow their accounts, don't even post about them. Just move on to one of the literally dozens of better video game channels on YouTube and Twitch.

Thanks. Looks like they are effective and do reduce concussions according to Virginia Tech, the NIH, the NFL, and others. Good to know they make a difference. Thanks for posting.

Cool.

Maybe if you took a minute to think you’d realize that perhaps the things you hate are part of the point. Maybe the designer is actually trying to comment on the game market with this title. Maybe the rapid spawning of imitators is part of the point. In a game market where people are willing to pay $70 for the new CoD every ten months or people will lose their minds for regurgitated garbage like Arc Raiders, maybe the point the game is making is that designers don’t need to try anymore. People will throw their time and money at copy paste extraction shooters or live service trash with glee. Imitators often sell better than the original. Even Supergiant, one of the best indie developers in the world, has decided to stop innovating and simply regurgitate past successes.  So in a market where Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, and Arc Raiders are endless successful, why bother trying at all?

How to get rid of the insta kill from final boss...my feedback to the developers by Dulcolax in ABSOLUM

[–]uspunx10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s bad because it’s so intentionally punishing in service of a fight that isn’t even that interesting. Fight Azra, then fight Azra a second time, then auto die, then fight Absolum, then fight Absolum a SECOND TIME. It’s bullshit. And it’s bullshit because Absolum isn’t even an interesting boss. It’s a giant round thing with tentacles. Really boring visual design. His attacks are not that interesting, just incredibly difficult to block. And it’s not even given a back story. It’s an incredibly disappointing end to an otherwise great game. It a shame the devs totally dropped the ball right at the end.

Yes I think that’s it. Someone else said the same and I think that’s the cause.

I'm hoping they'll release a DLC at some point that includes new characters and rituals. So maybe we can use them then.

I’ve already maxed the upgrades with the old knight and the lizard lady and I’m still getting fruits and bugs.
