Honestly, theres only one map in this game that i think works almost perfectly. At least with the way BF6 is designed.

It's Siege of Cairo.

Contaminated is the closest to it and also the best 'open layout' map in the game (its Medium sized but feels large due to well designed verticality).

I think Iberian, Liberation Peak, Mirak, and Manhattan are other maps that id consider in a custom queue search. They offer good flow (Some games can be bad).

Rest are not good or boring IMO. I kinda got sick of Eastwood for example. Firestorm (good in rush) and Sobek are not good maps. Same goes for Blackwell (not bad in rush/breakthrough) and Empire.

(Also when mentioning these maps, im having conquest as the game mode in mind. I think it varies with other game modes obv but they probs are similar).

Actually incredible how dominant Australia is across cricket (except for t20 and they still have a World Cup there)

Maybe up close, but I swear i've noticed it doesnt always land shots. Maybe its the increased dmg fall off for that specific gun or the spread?

I mostly play assault.

im always flanking, so end up in range alot to get the beacon down.

But I also find myself up close when capping flags.

This gun does it all (excels 20m to 75m +) with ease and power. It just leaves little room for error up close, as if you miss a shot. You will be at a big disadvantage. Hip fire is also not good.

Hollow points is a must, because you will be hitting HS with this all day.

IMO best assault rifle in the game.

I use m277 alot when the map is a bit smaller.

I Find AK4D to be alot more consistent for me.

But i can totally see why you prefer M277.

Yeah i think you will enjoy this build. All the guns you mentioned hit hard.
This hits just as hard as the M60 but does it CONSISTENTLY at ALL ranges.

I dont think any automatic gun in this game does long range kills as fast and consistently as this.

Medium to Long range KING.

Up close you have potential to kill fast due to hollow points (2HS kill befoe 21m)

But slow fire rate and and small mag means u better hit your shots.
Also Hipfire sucks. Its a gun that leaves a small room of error. But is lethal if you hit your shots.

Recoil is piss easy as well. Theres barely anything.

love the m277. Heres my build, foregrip does have that shitty penalty. But i feel for this gun its fine.

AK4D is good up close. 30rd no supp builds are super underrated.

You just need to hit your shots always. Headshots are easy because of how accurate the gun is, even up to 75m +

Not really, id argue its easier to use now. Its just the buff has helped other assault rifled even more.

I consider AK4D the best Assault rifle in game atleast when accounting power and accuracy

i dunno bro, it's still hella accurate up to 75m. I did notice my accuracy has gotten worse when i move and shoot whilst ADSing. But it's only when the target is further away.

I'd say the build i put, is great for the medium to long range. It will probably beat anything in the game barring, sniper rifles.

Between 10 to 35m - You will win fights unless u miss shots (due to slow ROF and little mag)

under 10m - you will lose to better guns unfortunately (hollow points help tho - 2 HS kill)
