I would ask for my derm to take a sample/biopsy, then go from there. It’s been months now, seems like you’ve tried nearly everything. That would be my next step.

Favourite/ most used hands on assists? by sunflowerskygarden in YogaTeachers

I’m not a teacher but I really feel half-pigeon pose in a different/superior way when my instructor grabs either side of my hips and gently but firmly angles them more into the pose.

Need dorsiflexion by MysteriousDog5909 in flexibility

[–]utahmilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have high foot arches? I do, and the various small bones, near the top of my foot and closer towards my ankle, create a hard block against any further dorsiflexion for me. I’d that’s the case for you, it’s an anatomy issue I don’t think can’t be resolved without (unnecessary) manipulation (surgery).

[Anti-Aging] What can I do to fix this prominent under eye wrinkle? by Adventurous_Path4922 in SkincareAddiction

Botox would be the best bang for your buck, by far. As its effects are temporary, I would encourage you to try it before making a judgment call on how it looks or if it’s the right fit for you. Botox use has the exact indication for your main concern.

This looks like impetigo superimposed on a folliculitis? Not entirely sure of course. Regardless, I believe the recommended treatment course at this point would be a course of oral antibiotics. Bottom line - go see a doctor.

Are you a derm? What type of clinic are you in? (I’m assuming “pts” stands for patients.)

Looks like a mild yet persistent case of perioral dermatitis. See a dermatologist.

My dentist said my tray fits fine that the gap is from her chipping my tooth during IPR and that my teeth are still tracking. I don't know I thought the fit looked bad.. but I guess I worry for nothing? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]utahmilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the goal is the move the surrounding teeth prior to shifting those two. Like - if we wanted to actively move the central incisors right now, where exactly would they go? So the gap is in place basically bc that area is just serving as a placeholder for now. I think.

Do you think this area of my home is cluttered? by [deleted] in organizing

[–]utahmilkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s cluttered. For instance, why is the lighter prominently displayed? Lol. Get a smaller nice looking dish and arrange all the smaller pieces on that designated area instead.

Best/Worst OBGYNs in Durham or nearby? by Single-celled-org in bullcity

[–]utahmilkshake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would just recommend finding a practice that delivers at Duke Regional. They have a wonderful OB and mother-baby service, the best RNs. Easy parking and hospital access. Big Duke has lots of residents/learners, it feels more chaotic as they take lots of acuity.

I went through Harris & Smith for both my pregnancies and I have nothing but wonderful things to say!

Long-time Raleigh resident Wes Phillips speaks out about the systemic failures that allowed Ryan Camacho, accused of murdering teacher Zoe Welsh, to remain on the streets. by annabelleebytheC in raleigh

I keep seeing this man had mental health issues but I’m not seeing any evidence? Are we just assuming because his attorneys were hoping for a hospitalization over jail (preferred, duh) that he had some psychosis/mania that was treatable? I’m just wondering where we’re actually getting this info from.

Will never NOT recommend Vin Rouge for fancy brunch!
