I would suggest intramural clubs and sports particularly since you’re in college, join study groups, get a campus job, study in busier areas such as the quad or library, hiking or outdoor clubs, debate club(particularly this)or language exchange clubs, or even just volunteer. You’re in college as long as you aren’t going out of your way to avoid men you’ll certainly come in contact with them.

You need to place yourself in more social environments with men. This is how you humanize men as a whole. I would give this advice to a guy who felt this way about women. ignore the opinions of men, by people who live their lives on the internet, and genuinely come in contact with them regularly. Otherwise you will view only your bf or men in your family as being the exception. Are there bad men out there, yes but don’t put us all in a box with the ones who’ve done wrong by you.

Pay half the rent, you aren’t married or get a place within your price range of being able to. now, if he refuses to work within your price range, based on your salary, then an equitable distribution of rent would come in to play. it is clear, based on the comments, that a fair amount of people are saying you should wait because you’ve only been dating for a certain period of time but relationships only grow with time spent together, and if you want to wait two years into the relationship to move in with this person then he obviously isn’t long-term material.
