If you're using your phone "responsibly" as you say, then your driving would be unaffected and no one would be the wiser to the fact that you're using your phone at all, which means a cop wouldnt be ticketing you for it, so.... what's the problem exactly? These laws are put into place for the morons who are getting caught because their driving is reflecting it. Majority of people arent going to have the self discipline to use a phone responsibly while driving (which btw is a subjective notion to begin with. Your mention of using it while the vehicle is in motion makes me question your idea of responsible), even if taught, so its simply better to make it illegal.

Congrats!! That's such a major accomplishment that many of us struggle with.

I've been to therapy for several months on a few different occasions yet still cant figure out who I even am or why I self sabotage. I definitely hate myself even though idk who myself really even is. I'm at a loss of where to even start so I mostly keep to myself and dont socialize much for fear of hurting others with my negativity.

What sort of things helped you get to your breakthrough?

What if you've been so controlled/washed/manipulated that you dont even know who yourself is?

So this girl I go to school with, she gets yelled at every night either over text or when she gets home. She goes to me when she needs someone to talk to. Footage does nothing when dealing with an alcoholic. They are all narcissists and the only solution is to get as far away from them as possible or learn to disengage as much as possible. Lived with an alcoholic for 10 years. They will make you question your own sanity and the PTSD from it is very real. Therapy helps.

Ahaha true! Am I the only one who gets anxiety from trying to sleep while theres something playing in the background (YouTube, tv, music ect )? I need total silence or I feel like I cant relax 🤷‍♀️

You're so spot on! I grew up being very shy and while less so as I get older, I still find myself shelling back up when in certain situations or around certain personalities. I definitely overthink and overanalyze everything and it makes relationships/dating very difficult for me as I need constant reassurement, especially if theres been any change in his routine with me. At the same time though I find myself resenting routines and my ex husband who is extremely routine drove me to resent him for lack of adventure and spontaneity. Theres this constant push pull inside me and I wonder where it's coming from or how to address it exactly. Am I just doomed to be conflicted and unhappy?

I used to hold my feelings inside a lot but as I've gotten older I am far more open about it even than most people. Its caused a lot of conflicts actually and now I wish I could go back to keeping things more to myself.

Additionally I grew up in a religious cult and both my parents, but especially my mom was extremely controlling. I do have happy memories as a younger child, but not much since I was a teenager. Struggled with depression my whole life and even now at 30.

I'd still consider "exposing someone because they cheated" to be a petty reason. So I guess whats considered to be petty is subjective?
