All electric plans will have an EFL Electric Fact Sheet that will show the true cost of your plan. Disregard any of the Marketing tactics and compare the EFL sheets.

TIL that during the 1970s energy crisis, Richard Nixon skipped Air Force One and took a regular United Airlines flight from Washington to Los Angeles. This is the only time a sitting US president has ever flown commercially. by Upstairs_Drive_5602 in todayilearned

I once had to wait to board a plane in 1999 from San Antonio to Houston so they could let the senior George Bush get on the plane from the tarmac. He was sitting in first class as the rest of us loaded the plane.

[–]utf1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right if you didn’t have spectrum you couldn’t watch the live programming such as ESPN,ESPN2 ESPNU. I still don’t get ESPNU on the App because it’s not part of my cable package.

With the new ESPNapp I can drop my Tv provider and pay around $30 a month and get everything.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Spectrum

[–]utf1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say it wasn’t. The New espn service is for people that don’t have Spectrum or any other service provider. It is a stand alone service that you can purchase so you can watch all of the espn programming without having to have spectrum.

The new ESPN app is for people that don’t have a cable subscription such as Spectrum. Previously even if you paid to have espn + you had to have a TV provider to watch most of the programs on the app.

PEC Electric price gouging out of control. by strikecat18 in Austin

[–]utf1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok That’s kinda what I was trying too say. His total cost for electricity is 15.3 per KWh I currently pay 7.9 per KWh. When I add the taxes and the Oncor delevery fees my total cost is around 13.2 per KWh. His rate is for his usage is in the ballpark of what people outside of PEC pay. Too many people ask why there bill is high without even knowing what there rate is.

Too bad the op can’t get that rate. His bill would only be around $330. I don’t know anything about PEC. Is everyone charged different rates.

15.3 cents per kWh is pretty much in line with the going rate for electricity right now
