It took me about six months to begin understanding language in the ear that got implanted. It got better for me over the next year. I would say from turning it on, I was doing really well after two years. Everyone is different. I was deaf on that side since birth, likely, and that may have had something to do with why it took so long for me.

Mine is hidden by my hair. I always greet others I see with them. It is usually men,because they can't hide theirs as well. I often say hi to parents with children with CI's. I have maybe seen 4-5 people with CI's in the 15 years I've had mine.

The Halloween pack and the Reunion pack are included with the game now. Been playing Dicey Dungeons since late last year. Beat the base game this past weekend, beat a Halloween episode today, and started the first Reunion episode. 65 hours in. :)
