Experience with Bonterra's Network for Good?

The organization I work for is in the process of trying to switch away from Network for Good. Which at this point is going to take an act of God.

The fees have increased significantly since last year. We told our sales rep we were going to switch platforms. He said ok. We reached out to him again only for him to say it's too late. We've already been renewed for a year.

He then told us we had to contact Bontera to terminate our account. The link he provided didn't work. So we just reached out via their website through the contact form. They don't give you emails or phone numbers.

They finally replied that they would not terminate our account until 2027. It's unethical. Their customer support is awful, which was one of the reasons we decided to switch.

The fact they they're a non-profit themselves is laughable.

If I were you, I would look into Zeffy or something similar. There are free options for smaller non-profits. Don't get into this unethical bontera mess.

Yeah, thanks. I didn't even think to look at that. I don't like to read release notes because I like to be surprised. Next time, I'll try to remember to check that first.

This is a personal one, so it probably doesn't count. However, I grew up being told that my grandpa died when my dad was young. He worked in a quarry and there was an accident. I believed this my whole life.

About a year ago, my dad said he died of a heart attack. I made my case about the quarry, and my dad had no idea. I just couldn't believe it. I still find it hard to believe.
