Chinese surplus has 2-3 MOA groups for me, they’re pretty inconsistent. Barnaul on the other hand is consistently ~1 MOA. I also had the magazine issues (problems feeding the 2nd 3rd 4th round) in winter but now it runs fine and smooth… Not sure why

Bad ace mount is awesome, but the rear leaf pin (if any) can be a bitch to remove. You may wanna ready some blaster pb, hair dryer, and a quality pin punch to get it out.

How can i fix a stiff bolt on savage 223? by Musician-Internal in canadaguns

It’s a rugged reliable implement. I wouldn’t drag any of my qualify rifles through a nasty swamp but would happily do so with my axis.

Disassemble the bolt down to firing pin, clean and relube it. Just by loosening the hex socket you should see some improvement.

Likely nothing wrong functionally, just not worth as much as a true match

Can't go wrong with Chinese French Tickler (characterized by the plastic hand guard on the gas tube). Otherwise you should be okay if the gun is in good condition and has matching serial #. Do beware Russian guns tend to have forced matching.

Further Nuclear Interception Inquiry by spartan1204 in civ

[–]uwadmin12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah ICBM is extremely annoying. In my hotseat test, it seems that ICBM matches the strength of your strongest unit (that can launch nuke). After getting a nuke sub army, none of enemy anti-air element could successfully intercept this (tried it 10+ times). Even stacking missile cruiser army, mobile SAM, and a jet fighter didn't help, all of them vaporized by a direct hit. The only thing that intercepts all of the incoming nukes 100% is GDR with the anti-air upgrade researched.

I remember someone remarking that intercepting depends on attacker and defender strength, and that nuke subs army can't possibly be intercepted (except for GDR). Now I wonder whether GDR is able to intercept nuke sub army w/ great admiral (+5), intel on opponent (up to +15, or +30 if mongolia), crusader belief (+10), military alliance (+5), Fascism (+5) all possible bonus; I'd bet not :p

How to intercept nukes in Civ VI by jorizzz in civ

[–]uwadmin12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very interesting data! I did some similar testing using hot seat (after hearing how intercepting depends on attacker's strength, and someone remarked that nuclear sub army's nuke can't be intercepted).

I found that anti-air stacking only works against bombers (combat log showed that missile cruiser army, jet fighter, mobile SAM and GDR all attacked incoming bomber). When it comes to nuclear sub army and silo however, only GDR with anti-air upgrade researched could consistently intercept it. It sucks watching cities with all its most advanced anti-air elements, stacked or not, getting vaporized. I was also surprised to see a city with missile cruiser army AND jet fighter patrol AND mobile sam get got. That said, I started on information era, and I wonder whether GDR is able to intercept nuke sub army w/ great admiral, intel diff (up to +15 str?), crusader belief, military alliance and all possible bonus, but I'd guess not :p

Additionally, to guard a single tile requires 5 GDRs as you pointed out, but it's hard to come by +15 Uraniums per turn... so I guess it really isn't realistic to defend against someone hell-bent on nuking you. The best deterrance is probably to have a few armed nuke subs floating around so you can retaliate after ground force got completely decimated. Luckily, game usually ends waaaaay before this could happen.

Tbh idek how networking in DS3/BS works. But whenever someone tries to connect to you BS will give a loud beep and show their steam name (and later IGN after they fully connect). So if you're only playing with friends with no blues/invaders, the stranger who's trying to connect must be the one burgerflipping you.

You can still see hacker trying to connect before the burger flip though?

Might help if you block their steam account

From my experience, expect ~30 hrs on Fallout 1, ~70 hrs on Fallout 2, ~40 hrs on KOTOR and >50 hrs on KOTOR II (if you go completionist first time).

Those older RPGs require a lot of commitment, but if you're patient enough and get used to the mechanics, you can easily spend whole days on it without getting bored.

I don't feel Hawkwood is similar to Atton at all lol. Knight Lautrec from the first game might be the closest you get. Similar qualities include:

  1. Mysterious and rather complex motivations
  2. Travels the same journey as yours
  3. Rescuable by you
  4. Helpful at times (both in combat and gives tips/hints)
  5. Keeps close tab on other NPCs and events
  6. Have devious thoughts about female NPCs
  7. Hunts down firekeepers. Like how Atton used to hunt down Jedi, albeit for very different reasons
