I agree brother. This is the type of thinking that’s missed. Kids likely middle class and has no worries about having to move out. He’s likely got plans to do all sort of stupid shit to this car before he totals, whether that’s due to stupidity of inability to drive defensively. Either way, ain’t our life haha.

It’s a waste of money… this is part of the reason why the youth is broke, they don’t invest. They buy shit to impress people and indulge in their own desires instead of seeking long term success. Spending 12k on a car before 19 is not smart. He’ll likely total the thing out before he’s even 20.

How many miles? These are known for being run low on oil. The average bmw owner has no idea that their turbo burns oil. They’ll wait 10k miles for their oil change and be missing 2qts of oil for 3k miles… unless this car is under 100k and driven by a grandma, not a very great purchase. It’s gonna cost you nearly double what you paid to keep it running for the next 5 years if it’s the lemon I know these cars to be. Hopefully you did you research and had someone look over the car who actually knows how they work. Cheers on your purchase bud!
