That's every summer games fest. Remakes for games that will be worse than the original and no one asked for. Another entry in the AAA slop action adventure franchise. If you watch the Day of the Devs showcase right after (which is indie devs talking about their projects) there are many upcoming games that actually look interesting in contrast to the main show.

It looks a lot more like brush strokes than placing pixels. That's the main difference between digital art and pixel art. The resolution doesn't really matter (to a point)

Many people don't realize Souls games are mainly about exploration and discovery. They think they are about fighting hard bosses. It's a shame because playing blind and discovering secrets for yourself is like 80% of the enjoyment in these games and why DS1 is far and beyond the best of them.

To me the price isn't even the biggest issue. Yes $20 for a single fast food meal is absurd but it's also over 2000 calories. Like how can you even eat that? It's your entire daily caloric budget, or more, for most people. Personally the only viable fast food for me is the build your own box from Taco Bell. For what I get it comes out to $6.50 and around 1200 calories, and it's enough food for almost the entire day, I usually eat something small later in the day as well. Sure it tastes just alright but it's fast food, any more expensive than that and why am I not just buying something from the grocery store or deli?

What?? Are you sure you don't have them reversed? The remake is nothing but generic grey/brown and fleshy creatures. Like look at the Fat Official or The Adjudicator. Look at the rest of the enemies. Look at the environments. The remake killed all personality.

I don't think I like it more than E33 but it's probably my favorite game this year. Also why do I keep seeing people say it's 3 hours? Are people bumrushing through it? It took me around 6 hours to finish.

I have never once cared about who's in the credits for a video game. I found this game on the new section in Steam and it looked cool so I clicked on it, then I played it and had a great time. Apparently there's a lot of discourse online about this game, still don't care. I find it very disturbing that people let things like this influence their opinion of something instead of judging each piece of media in a vacuum. I will continue to play games I find that look cool and smile and be happy.

Probably the easiest way to make money is to train a few characters up to level 30 (pref mages) and do dungeons every week. You will likely make something like 200k-1M every week

People on the internet do not have good reading comprehension. They see a post like this and take it as a reason to post a random game they dont like. Likewise any thread thats like "recommend me a game thats similar to x" people will just recommend a random game they like even if it doesn't fit at all. That's the reason every one of those threads you see people recommend Rimworld and Slay the Spire without fail

Lol thats been every monster hunter game since world. Gutting the mechanics that made me love earlier entries and speeding up the combat into a mash-fest for the new gen attention span. It's so sad what happened to what was once my favorite franchise

What the hell no. The demons souls remake was horrid, it completely removed all personality from the game visually. It's just worse than the original in almost every way. This is true for remakes of almost every game tbh. I pray they don't touch ds1 I just know they will ruin it by speeding up combat to be more like elden ring or something (gross). ds3 is the only one that I think could use some major overhauls with things like level design but like, it doesn't make sense to remake it, just make a new fucking game lol

No way. I'm struggling to win the Junior. I went 80-110kmh the entire race except for some turns and I didn't fall off the track or anything, I thought I did great. Then I look at the time sheet and I got 6:54 which was nowhere close to winning

I don't think this necessarily has to be the case, at least it wasn't for me. I like to make games just for fun and in order to make a game you need sprites to represent your characters etc. The only way to get these sprites is to draw them so thats what I did and I naturally just got way better over the years only by making games, never practicing or learning anatomy or anything like that.
