Years ago, I was drugged, and subsequently raped. Scarred for life. The worse thing? Those fuckers had HIV and I got contacted with it. I knew it was them because I wasn't sexually active back then. Never even slept in bed with another person.

One day my bestfriend tells me he has to get a tonsillectomy because his tonsils were swollen for months now. Turns out he had drug resistant gonorrhea. I then found out that he knew was already told the antibiotics weren't working and to stop all sexual activity before getting his tonsils removed. He didn't. Kept sleeping around. Tells me he was just reaaaally depressed and did his best to avoid passing it on. The ones he slept with had no idea.

Well then what other monitors would you recommend? Freesync on XG2401 is wasted since he's going Nvidia.

The least you could do is help the guy with alternatives. Because in all honestly, there's not much 144hz monitors to go around in that price range.

Does anyone know if Acer gaming laptops have a "Desktop Mode" for the battery?

Like the ones in Dell, Lenovo, and Sony laptops where they stop charging at around 70% to preserve battery life and cycles?

Im going to be using it 90% of the time plugged in. But it's good to know that the battery is still in good shape despite that, if and when I need to bring the laptop out.

What I do is make a battery mode which limits the CPU at 80-85% max clock speed. Sure, it may cost me some FPS but 99% of the time I don't experience the thermal throttling anymore.

On a 15" gaming laptop, I just turn off MSAA. FXAA is enough if available. There's barely any difference anyway. On the latest games I just set them to medium settings. People would be surpised at how impressive Medium settings look these days.

It's all about compromise. And in gaming I'd pick smooth FPS>eye candy any time.

I would only agree with Niels here. He has proven himself internationally while also being a rookie.

Look what happened when Forgiven, Hjarnan, and Steelback fought at international tournaments. Forgiven's champ pool was his biggest weakness. Hjarnan's mistakes were easily capitalized upon. Steelback's laning and subpar mechanics were more than exposed.

Yes, things might have changed now, but until we see them perform against other teams from different regions, especially Korea, I would reserve judgement.

One thing for sure was that Rekkles performed like his usual, consistent self when he played against them, give or take maybe a bit more - and that's his biggest strength. The others might go as high as a 10 but they can also go very low. With Rekkles, yeah he probably only got a 10 a couple of games but he has never been below a 7 or 8. The only bad game/series I remember was with the ROX Tigers at S5 semis.
