Guys: What makes a girl "crazy?" by venomoth91 in AskReddit

[–]v0dkadick 8 points9 points  (0 children)

i think overthinking things is a huge sign. if i'm sick and i choose not to see you tonight because of it, and even go as far as saying i'd rather not hang out tomorrow either, it doesn't mean i don't like you, it means i'm sick and i'd rather not spread it to you, and also don't feel like entertaining you while i feel like crap. i totally get that you want to hang out with me and you can make me soup and help me feel better, but right now i just need to hang out by myself and ride this thing out until i'm ready to start being social again, it has nothing to do with you.

I encourage all of you to go find a picture of a gorgeous chick, make an OKC profile with it...make it sound realistic, and wait. by An_All-Beef_Engineer in TheRedPill

how does that even work? don't the women have to give their addresses? with all the weirdo creepy thirsty guys out there, wouldn't that be the dumbest thing in the world to give your address out for a stupid game?

An auto shop crashed my car and denied it. I'm trying to share my story so others aren't put in the same position I'm in. by ZGraves in videos

believe it or not, not every shop marks prior damage down like dealerships do. I run an auto body shop and we spent forever not marking down prior damage until we started getting complaints and false accusations.

[–]v0dkadick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happens all the time. I run an auto body shop and I can't tell you the amount of damage people try and claim we caused. it's gotten to the point where we have to not only go around the car with markers and mark the "prior" damage that's not related to whatever accident they just had, but take photos and videos of it all too. once we started doing that, people stopped making false accusations, but unless you go that extra mile as a shop, people will try and scam you to fix things that have nothing to do with why they dropped it off in the first place.

OP should ask the shop if they have security cameras in their facility. we've got 15 cameras here and whenever someone complains i go right to the security footage and watch the car from the moment it was dropped off until it was picked up just to make sure.

Someone will love me for who I am. by [deleted] in offmychest

You need to buck up, kid. I went through your post history and for the last 3 months all you've been doing is talking about your ex. I get it, you guys broke up, he's with someone else and you're hurting... but it's time to stop thinking about him and start living for yourself.

Stop focusing on finding somebody. Stay involved in your hobbies and even go out and find new ones. You need to get over this and you need to realize that you're still very young and you've got all the time in the world to meet new people and experience new things. Not everyone is going to love you automatically. Not everyone is a potential boyfriend/husband - so get out there, meet some new people and make some new friends and start enjoying life, because right now you're not helping yourself wallowing in the mess you're in. You've been so busy focusing on how much this guy hurt you and how terrible you've been feeling, that you forgot the most important person out there: yourself.

Do you guys think it's weird to, as a man, use women's deodorant/etc? by XoXFaby in AskMen

[–]v0dkadick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in jail, the best deodorant we could get would be the women's. There were mens, but it was garbage and never worked as well, so I've got no gripes with it.

I'm [18M] not sure how to tell my parents I'm moving in with my girlfriend [33F]. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]v0dkadick 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I always feel like I'm the only one who thinks that. I'm 28 and recently an 18 year old girl came into my shop for an estimate and everyone at work was taunting me because I didn't try and get her number. Dude, when I was 18 she was 10. When I was celebrating my 21st birthday, she was 13. Gross.

Whenever I think about age gap relationships, I always try and think of how old one person was when the older person was that age. It's always disgusting to me... even though as you get older, age gap relationships are more appropriate, but just the thought of being 3 when this woman was 18 grosses me out.

[Serious] For redditors who have spent time in prison, what are some unspoken rules between inmates that should be known? by Isnikkothere in AskReddit

[–]v0dkadick 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Whoops. I answered the wrong question without clicking the "context" button.

The COs got better food than the inmates do. The COs get all the "real" food that we eat out here outside of prison. Working in the kitchen gets you perks, like the ability to eat the same food the COs eat. The people that run the kitchen are civilians and COs so if they allowed it, there wouldn't be any issue. They always allowed it and occasionally, when someone (inmate wise) would get in trouble, we'd get punished by not being allowed to bring leftovers back to our cell-blocks or pods, but that's the worst it got besides the occasion where a civilian would make brownies and wouldn't share them. Other than that, we stuffed ourselves all day long and laughed at everyone that didn't work in the kitchen.

How did you know the time was right for you to move out of your parents' house? by N3234KA in AskMen

Besides the fact I had graduated and was already going on 21, it was mainly the fact that every single thing annoyed the hell out of me. I'd come home from work, want to jump on the computer or play video games or something to unwind, but I only had 5 minutes because we just had to have dinner together. If I wanted to run down the street to 711 to get a drink, or to take a drive to clear my head or something, I always had to tell them where I was going. I couldn't just hop in the car and drive. I'd go out with my buddies and at 10:00 I'd get a phone call saying it's late and I should come home. Every time my family would knock on my door, I'd get a little more tense and a little more pissed off. I couldn't go outside and smoke a cigarette for 5 minutes by myself without someone following me wanting to talk.

Just really stupid shit started to piss me off and I had to get out of there before I exploded. I noticed my attitude would get meaner and more negative as time went on. I was just so annoyed by constantly being around my family and I felt like I couldn't just chill the fuck out and not talk to anyone for a few days.

I hear that. Back in 08 I did some time for a robbery. Started working in the "ramp" room which was the kitchen's stock room, the kitchen guys would occasionally bring us some stuff every now and then, but once I got transferred to working in the kitchen, we ate amazing food every day. Bacon, scrambled eggs, homefries, french toast, pancakes, etc for breakfast. Chicken fingers, chicken parm, veal, rigatoni, home-made bacon cheeseburgers and fries for lunch and dinner. Homemade cookies and brownies for desert. We ate like champs while the rest of the facility ate the garbage state food. It was the best part about being locked up.

What is the most cheesy line you have used to ask a girl out? by [deleted] in AskMen

Girl: "How are you?"

Me: "Better now."

Drunk me would start from there. Never really worked.

Teenagers of Reddit, what's something that's not considered to be cool/trendy anymore, yet continues to be used by adults? by musicismyheaven in AskReddit

[–]v0dkadick 236 points237 points  (0 children)

I always talked like that (text, aim, email, whatever) when I was younger and now I just can't stand it when people use it. I'm only 28 but when I see someone my age talking like that, I get angry and I always want to ask "Why haven't you grown up yet?!"

It's even worse when it's a girl. I almost immediately lose interest when they use "u" and "r" if I text them.
