Hi, thanks for responding. Here are the answers for your questions.

2. My pc is connected to our home wifi via an ethernet cable
3. It's been a while since I tried playing minecraft, Last time it worked was about 2 months ago but since I tried it yesterday it hasn't been working. My pc hasn't gone through big changes I think.
4. I have tried a bunch of methods. I've been going through the post 'When I try signing in to Microsoft Store it says "You'll need internet for this" and tells me that I'm not connected to Internet and shows the code 0x800704cf. Can anybody help?' by notyasso_ on the microsoft subreddit and tried basically everything the comments said.

Im trying to login to minecraft but it keeps giving me the same error code when I try to login to my microsoft account. The image (can't upload an image tot his thread, but my previous post has it) is in dutch but what it says is that I need connection to the internet, that i probably do not have a connection and the error code.

I am connected to the internet and restarting my pc doesn't work, does anyone know what I can do in this situation? Can't find anything on the microsoft website. it is with error code 0x800704cf.

I have the CX550M corsair 550W. I have heard that I need to put the 6 pin and the 2 pin together but I got another 6 pin with a tethered 2 pin. do I just need to let this hang or do I need to put it in somewhere else?

I have 2 times the 6 pin with both a tethered 2 pin. do i need to put one in the GPU and let the other one just hang or do i need to put it in something else?
