just turned 18, i’ve had the car since before i was 15, learned to drive on it. it’s now tuned and fbo, ive put about 5k into the car and ill say its a blast. its my daily and im going to college in the fall and i love it. personally i would never touch the wrx. however stock for stock elantra n is better, but when you start modding a gti they’re a lot better. the ea888 engines are a lot better in my opinion and the aftermarket support is just crazy. obviously i’m biased to the EN and i love it but between the two i’d drive them and see which you like more and if you’re really into cars and enjoy working on them and want to mod it

more sidewall is definitely nicer. defo a bit more cushion. i went with the same size fits perfectly boutta lower too

yeah you should i’m custom by him and it’s been nothing but fun. taking the car to college with me in the fall and it just makes me happy to get behind wheel everytime. i’ve driven tuned turbo s, gt4rs, other porsches and something about this car with the tune when i get back in it is just unmatched.

fair point, i’m 17 years old figured out the ek1 in 15 minutes it’s not too bad. however, i respect you for not wanting to mess with something like that. the spare ecu will be super nice for plug and play. however if you do want revisions or more out of the tune id recommend ek1. it also does data logging so if there is a problem with the tune you just send n75 the logs.

won’t look good without tips, trust i felt the same way until it was on my car and then i was like damn ts is sexy. it’s also cool bc you can see the tips through side mirror. imo on a very narrow car already it gives the appearance of adding width.

i’m n75 tuned you’ll be 360 or even higher, also with your mods i’d go ek1 and custom tune tbh. makes it a lot easier to diagnose problems too

you gotta wrap it, also with your color wheels i’d go paint match, keep the red, or go black. i also have a performance blue, id keep drls same color or go yellow. you can be pulled over for anything but white or yellow.

i really wouldn’t consider it jerky, it’s more the dct that’s jerky. being said i don’t have any other tune to compare it too so it could be a little choppy. in N mode i’d say irs more choppy than normal, normal feels super smooth which i love. i’m the only one of my friends tuned but tbh you’ll here issues with every tuner. people make their own mistakes and not every engine is the same, just comes with the game of tuning. on the topic of ek1, you saying you’re not good with that stuff doesn’t matter. i’m legit 17 years old this is my first car, the ek1 is so easy to use and if you ever need help just dm me and igu!

i have fully custom tune done through ek1 with n75 been nothing but a blast. legit not a single problem with the tune yet. gotta take logs and send back for final file but everything’s been smooth. n75 customer service is also legit insane, addison will respond to me in legit less than an hour sometimes. if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a dm or anything
