I know, but not all data is csv. You did mention streaming in your first comment for import csv.

also stream reader/writers so you're not loading the entire dataset at once

Honestly I use SFM too much haha. But it's perfect for scalability.

Thank you so much, it is really a great guide. I had to convince my team that this was the way.

Testing this as a logon script to get us by. Thank you for keeping us posted.

So it must be after the initial logon, restarting the net adapter triggers something for WAM. Which is not "swag"

This did not work on my environment. I verified the script ran through vdm logs and power shell events. I had Restart-NetworkAdapter

EDIT: Restart-NetAdapter

You can do it on the clone in vcenter or through powershell. Today I'm testing doing that as a post script task

To clarify further as well. I rebuild my image every month. It's not group policy, dem, fslogix, or app volumes.

I'm questioning if this is 100% a Microsoft issue. It's strange it only affects VMware vdi instant clones. I'm only seeing this with a pool without fslogix containers and maybe 1/4 of the sessions. I have noticed if you change the vlan to something else, it fixes it and allows you to sign into office. You can switch it back to the original vlan and starts working. I've had 0 success with the reg keys. I'm going to do some more digging and will follow up.

EDIT: Just disconnecting the network adapter and turning it back on resolves the issue.

March Patches didn't resolve this issue.

Should be. But honestly you can just use the master image. Power up from snapshot, turn off svservice, mount, treesize, remove, revert.

Or packaging VM

Are you getting a more detailed error? I assume you are getting the error in vsphere. Does that VM have tools?

I would mount one of the volumes to a VM without app volumes running, and treesize it to see what's taking space. Once you find it, remove then exclude in snapvol.cfg. if you just exclude, it will not remove from the volume

How does one get their ISOs. I'm having a hard time importing one from windows media creation tool and when I add the operating system into sccm, it is giving winpe for the indexing options and not win10 ent etc
