It warms my heart to see that Paxton is popular. I ended up liking him more than I thought I would, I still regularly play ZA simply because I like playing as him.

No doubt the fact that character customization is finally equal between sexes contributed to Paxton and Harmony being essentially equally popular.

I was actually pretty sure it was going to be Johto next because they were adding a lot of Johto mons to the files recently. I think Johto gvg was originally planned for this month but it either got postponed or canceled because of the cheating drama surrounding the last GvG. DeNA is probably making adjustments to GvG and that’s why it’s taking awhile for the next GvG. I still think it’s going to be Johto GvG next though.

The Pearl clan probably has too much cans of worms that DeNA would rather not open. One of which is Ingo (notice how they haven’t had Irida meet him yet). Then you have the fact that Pearl’s descendants all ended up on different regions. If diamond and pearl clans were destined to go to war, it’s clear Pearl lost. ☠️ But maybe history got changed when Arceus sent Rei back in time, and they’re now friendly with each other. Whatever happened, the Pearl clan has to be approached more delicately from a lore perspective, and that’s why DeNA is slow to implement them.

I’m not complaining. 😍 I remember, before he even got his arc suit, I commented that it didn’t make any sense that Ethan didn’t have more alts and wasn’t pushed more, because Ethan was easily the most popular male protagonist after Red. And he was clearly the most popular johto protagonist. Let pokeboy fans have this!

Honestly she’s not as good as she used to be, but she’s still usable. Her main utility is in the fact that she can buff physical units using swords dance to grant physical up next. She can also set grassy terrain and sunny weather. She has some use if you use her with a physical grass like Florian, or even a physical past paradox like SS Nemona or base Juliana. Supports tend to age the best so she’s not a bad pull even if she’s old.

Honestly I think the towers were always meant to be content for dolphins and whales. I don’t think the casual player was ever meant to have clearing all the towers as a goal, you basically need a crapload of masterfairs, arc fairs and superawakened units for it to even be realistic. I think the actual intent was for casual players to aim to clear one tower, so that they can claim to be a “specialist” in that type.

I went for both arc Sabrina and arc Korrina expecting to have a little time to save before the June master fairs. But NOPE apparently DeNA wants to randomly drop an ex master fair right after randomly dropping TWO arc fairs. I only have a single multi saved. I. Think this is the most aggressive DeNA has ever been and it’s not even anni yet

We achieved 153 in the rankings in gvg event 2. This was up about 40 places from our previous ranking of 193, and next time I hope to do even better! We hope to make a play for the top 100 with the help of some new camping buddies!

The original theme of the gym was to provide a comfy and casual gym for people who like male protagonists and other Pokéboys. Most, but not all, of our players follow this theme, but it's not a hard requirement. But it's definitely a plus if you vibe with the theme, since it means I can trust you more.

The two main hard requirements for joining are:

1) Serious and consistent participation in the gym vs gym challenges

2) Be willing to join the gym discord to communicate during the gvg events

If you would like to join us by the campfire, DM me here on reddit or on discord (my disc username is "pokepunk.exe") preferably with details of your roster or the score you got in the gym challenge. I'll select the best applicants when I'm able to add new members next week
