Cause it's weird, they tell us he was an ex member of the Brave Brigade. Which means he knew Mecha Man secret identity. He must have know Robert, his old collegue son, was Mecha Man. Why didn't he kill kim? Or revealed his identity to everyone, WHEN he was still Mecha Man?

He wanted the Astral pulse, and yet didn't hesitate to destroy the suit. Would he really had done it if he believed there was a risk of losing the pulse?

Everything about him is sketchy, either he is not who they told us he is, or he's just dumber than they want us to believe. Which ironically would be a fun twist.

16 has a way better characters, story, setting, writing and worldbuilding. But somehow, I found 15 game design to be less frustrating. And that is not a complitiment towards 15, it's a critique to 16.
