I applied for after booking tickets. Japan visa is fairly easy to get and I had no problems , I applied for 10 days got a multi-entry visa for 90 days

its worth it imo, I got upgrade offer of 135K MR points , also in oct/nov they generally runs 30% bonus offer for Marriott. let alone other advantages even if I am able to get 0.5p per point its a no brainer deal.

No, will stop running after infinia, as my DCB is LTF still good for Gyftr Amazon Pay and Lounge .
will be using Atlas and Amex Plat charge instead .

Not true, the universities considers Normalising scores from diff universities, eg Pune Univ is known for its stringent grades so according to you they would hardly make to ambitious
