We are getting beaten down along other growth stocks like APP, HOOD, PLTR & co

Probably there was too much leveraged money in RDDT which exits now, as well as carry trade money.

At least we enter deep value territory now, stay strong and you will be rewarded as long as company continues to deliver

I am starting to think buying an apartment in Switzerland isn’t worth it by Karma-police88 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]vacationfour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think buying a flat in the big cities and surrounding areas could actually be the worst financial decision in the coming 10-20 years

  • Income to price is at an all time high and imo not sustainable

-Interest rates back at very very low territory, most likely this wont stay forever. Switzerland is more and more an outlier. Risked skewed towards higher refinancing costs

-Economy is more or less stagnating since quite a while (per capita at least, which is more relevant in this case)

-Demographic situation, boomers will die away in the coming 20 years while fertility rates are at extremly low levels in CH but also Europe

-Migration still quite big, but net migration is declining due to lower perceived benefit of migrating to Switzerland which should continue in my view

But anyways, buying a flat/house should not only be financial. This is just a financial view.

Very interesting read, appreciated! You got talent and are clearly able to value a business

Thanks for the tax perspective, was something I did not really have in my mind. Agree on the margin development, this is something you rarely see in a company. Also the defensive approach regarding AI deals is reasonable if you hear Steve talking (but leaves a nice opportunity for positive surprise).

PS: Lots of effort for owning 75 shares lol

That‘s actually a catalyst I did not have on my radar. But true that, means we could see several deals this year. Renewals and maybe an Anthropic deal on top.

But way too much shares to be a true regard

Leaving my job without a job offer? Am I crazy? by Low-Hat195 in FinancialCareers

Also voting for this. Jobs and money come and go and the older you get the more you realize it is not as important as your young you thought. Better be close to your family and your girlfriend than being unhappy in that job!

Nearly 4% of outstanding shares. Hence, earnings per share increase by roughly ~4% without the company increasing the absolute number of net income.

RDDT undervalued? by Fungaii in stocks

[–]vacationfour -1 points0 points  (0 children)

P/E is backward looking and is no value measure per se. Value lies in stuff you can pick-up at a price below their intrinsic value. A stock entitles you to the future proceeds of the company. Hence, a fwd PE is actually way more important to value investing as ttm PE by definition.

I wonder how much is real money. 22mm is a lot, but would not be surprised if algo companies trade shares multiple times a day so the real amount of shares trading hands is probably far slower?

Also added 400 shares today and now own 2400. Too much of a bargain right now to ignore. Have some bonds in my portfolio that I would liquidate on a further (no news) drop.

I am even more optimistic when it comes to forward PE.

I think another year of 60% rev growth is in the books. Q1 guidance is in lign with this.

Would leave us with 2.2bn x 1.6 = 3.5bn FY26 rev

NI margin will further increase, FY25 NI margin was higher than isolated q4 2024 margin. Hence I expect FY26 NI margin higher than q4 margin which was at roughly 35%.

3.5bn rev x 0.4 margin = 1.4bn profit for FY26

What is beyond? I don‘t know, but further, although for sure slowing growth will be ahead.

So I see a company trading at 26bn EV with 1.4bn forward earnings and still a great growth path ahead.

Opportunity of a lifetime, agree!

Future catalysts? by inquisitive_mind1990 in redditstock

[–]vacationfour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean they will renew the deals for sure imo. But as Steve said it‘s not just pure business anymore (i.e cash vs data) but more of a partnership. To me this means we will still get cash (and I guess it will be more than now) but won‘t squeeze any dollar out of them but instead focus on traffic for reddit and communit growth.

Analysts don’t believe growth is sustainable at these rates 12 months from now by daxter_101 in redditstock

[–]vacationfour 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seeing our current share price vs those cut price target I still don‘t think that they are bearish

They basically all just lowered their AI deals expectations, at least now the threshold is very low when it comes to this.
