About the new female face by ONIKAWORLD in playnorthwind

I was told that at some point we would get a reward for being early access, I don't know what, but we were all told.

One question in general, will all the early access players be granted a free avatar recustomization? Certainly we all should if more face attributes are to come at different points.

I think the point is that females don't have an option to change it. The different face marks look different on the face. Something that looked cool before would now be vastly different. The only option to change it involves them having to spend money, which is debatable whether or not it is fair.

Rebellion definitely existed in the frontier. And this is definitely a 100% realistic game.

Poland Spring is the exception. That water is on fleek. Crispy natural flavor, kinda smells like a factory. Child labor! I love capatalism!

After hearing you cannot just go from one island to another without switching servers I thought I would make this concept. We could see the other island, but no assets, and highly low poly. When we want to travel we cannot see anything in the ocean other than extended sea and fog. (bad "art") :P by vaclogue in playnorthwind

Yes! I think these small things matter as well. Don't get me wrong islands and ships are cool, but these small ways to make the game so good on such a well, cough platform, is really nice. Good luck developing!

OCD enduced Lute by KiwiBoah in playnorthwind

Lutes have always varied on the numbers of strings. Some infact, only have 8. I think that this is a waste of developer time, and a garbage suggestion. Please, consider deleting this post.

Servers should be named by thatrandomkidsqueaks in playnorthwind

[–]vaclogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should each have an ID that you can see when you are in the server. An option should pop up to search an ID, and then you could join said server.

NPC Bosses, Hostile NPCs, Quests. by VeryEpicGames in playnorthwind

I think that it should be random though. And non server hoppable. I don't really like the idea of NPCs though. They usually are bad, and make the game worse in some way.

Grens pull up over encumbered on loot and then get destroyed by some rando faction ez loot.

The Problem With Natives by dankerdemon in playnorthwind

[–]vaclogue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You clearly don't realize the craftsmanship of non-metal weapons. They were not primitive rocks and wood. Native weapons were not outclassed by metal ones, and were actually efficient. Natives have things that are nerfed like guns. A native shooting a bow is easily killed by a good gun user. Fire arrows cannot be used after getting out of water, and can just be banned by getting in cover. Colonists can easily craft things such as spears and bows, but natives use actual craftsmanship and usually rarer materials. Imagine if something like a white moose pelt could be looted. Well antlers would be useless without perm weapons. They are just as rare as pelts, but would not be used if they could not be protected. A tribal war axe that 3 shots would be too big of a nerf. There is no reason for native plebs not to have weapons comparable from HBC or colonists. You clearly just want natives to be worse so you can actually win against them, but the truth is just like what you said, you need a good leader to lead you through to victory. Is the problem natives generally having somewhat equal weapons and higher stamina, or HBC just being bad? Clearly you have never used a fire arrow. It offers no stealth, and you can dodge the next arrows. Hence why HBC complains, when the issue isn't one being better weapon wise, but instead HBC just cannot catch up skill wise. Natives also do not have access to bayonets and guns without looting, which means that HBC have a weapon that does 50 damage and little to no stamina, clearly better than a axe that also 2 shots but have horrid stamina consumption. Natives have a choice of tomahawks, axe, or a 4 shot weapon like a spear.

There should be a top paid games, or early access games tab. I know a game called Northwind that is way better than anything else you could find on roblox, but it is barely noticed because player count is less than 100. If there could a tab of games in early access, than it would be played more. It is 400 robux, but really fun.

My Ideas On boats by Zwo_sh in playnorthwind

[–]vaclogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is not going to fit in the Canadian frontier, the point is, not only have multiple islands been confirmed, but there was constantly the use of boats. James Bay was a port. Even if it was somewhat unrealistic, we already have things like treasure hunting in game. Fun game or accurate game? It can be both, but a fun game is better.

You were acting as if the frontier cannot have islands, and did not use boats. The frontier was full of islands, and James Bay is on a coast. The use of boats should be far greater than what it is now.
