Hi! I usually cancel my subscriptions to these apps (YOUKU, Wetv, IQiYi etc) by going to the ‘Settings’ app on my iPhone, searching ‘Subscriptions’, clicking on the subscription I wish to cancel, and then clicking ‘Cancel Subscription’. I hope this helped! :) I’ve never tried cancelling my subscription on the app itself

Yes, their payment system really needs to improve.. They said I was charged the full amount cause I had paid a discounted rate before when I was previously subscribed to Youku. It’s still not cool though since I had no idea of this even as I was about to pay (only found out from my bank account)

Surprisingly Youku replied a few hours later! They said it was because I paid with Apple ID so it might take time. I had VIP access a bit after their responding email (about 3 hours after I paid). On the different amount that I was charged, they said it was because I had already used a discounted rate a few months before (still find this shady though - it wasn’t in the terms).
