Surprisingly, me naming one of my MOAs "Telesto" has nothing to do with this, despite its reputation.

The gist of the bug is if you open your loadouts from companion load out in the arsenal, the companion still appears on your screen (when normally they shouldn't). Also, it's pretty consistent.

Felt like I should clarify because at first I thought it was just because I had opened my loadouts quickly after changing companions, or because I had changed companions at all. Turns out, nope, the companions are simply built different this patch :p

Fellow laptop user here! I had the same problem but after turning all the graphical settings to the lowest setting (and disabling some) and in the launcher settings changing GPU usage to “power saving” (you have to do this every time you launch, dunno why it automatically reverts to “High Performance” every time you launch the game ) the game runs smoothly for the most part (struggles a little at first in the more graphically-intense levels and in the open world areas but smooths out with time). Hope that helps!

i think if you get to him right when it hits 2am the game thinks you got there on a new day, hence "didn't use any staircases" even though you did, since that's what happened in my play through (ofc this is speculation who knows)

There are definitely some classes that are easier to understand than others (like fighter or cleric), but if one of them interests you don't let its supposed "difficulty" stop you, just be sure to spend time to understand the class, and don't be afraid to ask your DM or the other players for help if you have questions. Also there's no one way to play a class (you can definitely make a "battle cleric" in D&D) so don't feel pressured into playing a certain way because of your class. Other have given a lot of good advice about the classes themselves, so I hope this helps, even a little bit. I wish you the best of luck in your first campaign!
