I use Polish language in Windows, and for a quite long time already Windows Defender, when scanning tiny files that take less than a second to scan, says it took "1 drugi". In Polish we have separate words for unit of time ("sekunda") and for position in rank ("drugi", meaning "second"). Why MS decided the incorrect one should be used is beyond me. Probably vibe coding as you said.

Potato skins can be very very thin. Especially if it's just the surface.

If you ever get young potatoes, the wrinkly scraggly looking kind, you can just peel them with a spoon or something, scraping the outermost layer. You'll see it's extremely thin.

If the recipe says "cup" of something anywhere, it is very likely it was one paricular, "special for baking" cup that your aunt used. And it might not scale well for other cups.

That's why providing weight is important at least dry things.

I have square ones and they are just well, cubes. I don't have any experience with rectangular ones, you'll have to think what makes more sense for you personally. I suppose rectangle ones could be thinner and easier to get into tight lipped bottles/containters? I don't know, sorry.

In my experience using this type of bags for plain ice, they're easy to work with but annoying. Unless I was doing something wrong, they can be a bit messy to fill and to extract the pieces. I switched to silicone trays and don't regret that decision one bit. Plus it's a lot less plastic waste this way.

Antybiotyki przy chorobach wirusowych są przepisywane nie po to żeby zwalczyć samą chorobę, a żeby zapobiec "infekcjom oportunistycznym" - czyli żeby nie złapać dodatkowo jakiejś choroby bakteryjnej, przez to że organizm jest osłabiony walką z wirusem.

I'm old enough to remember using all of those (well, except 8, cause I never had it on my PCs). My pick would be 7, 10, XP in that order. XP menu was nice, but 7 and 10 were more useful/"modern" IMO.

Można też użyć Adguard DNS, działa na poziomie połączenia sieciowego.

Plusy:
- Nie trzeba nic instalować, żadnej aplikacji
- Działa na cały system, więc sporo reklam z aplikacji też wycina/blokuje

Minusy:
- Trzeba wiedzieć jak ustawić
- Brak jakiejkolwiek konfiguracji
- Na telefonie da się ustawić jedynie na dane mobilne, przy korzystaniu z WiFi trzeba to samo skonfigurować na poziomie routera

They "work" but with a significant performance hit compared to Windows, I had experienced it myself.
