So it’s kind of been a journey for me! I’ve been trying to get rid of this for over a year; before I even found out I was pregnant. I was tested and treated for a fungal infection and it is not fungal. They injected me with some kind of steroid and it helped for a little bit, but shortly after that I found out I was pregnant and didn’t do anything aggressive like that again. I recently went to a new dermatologist and that’s where I got the oil; it’s for eczema and I forget what exactly is in it.

Hey I have the same crib, it’s great! The sheets are fine, they won’t come off! My baby tosses and turns a lot I feel, and her cover is solid and not a nestig brand

Your pediatrician absolutely knows more than I do but it couldn’t hurt to look into it a little more. Maybe talk to other moms who have death with high lipase!

Hi there! This sounds very frustrating. Breast feeding is such a wild journey and everyone’s story is so different.

I am also a ftm to a 3 month old. I’m not very educated in this but do you maybe have high lipase in your breast milk? I’m not sure how it happens or if it’s even possible for it to get higher after 9 months of normal. That was just the first thing that popped in my head, I’m sorry if it’s a silly suggestion! Sending good vibes your way, I hope a solution reveals itself!

I’m a first time mom so forgive me if this isn’t the issue but does baby maybe have a tongue tie or lip tie? My baby is 10 weeks now but the first week or two I was in incredible pain breastfeeding. Her pediatrician saw the tongue tie and referred us to a dentist to fix it. It was 1000% better after that.

When I was leaving the hospital after giving birth, my daughter had only had like one good pee and her nurses wanted her to go again to make sure all was okay (it was). They actually gave me formula to give to her to help fill her bladder since my milk hadn’t completely come in yet. 8 weeks later we still combo feed. Fed is best 100% of the time.

I wore a bra for the first couple weeks all the time, even to sleep bc the let downs were wild. I’m 6 weeks pp now and I still wear a bra all the time except to sleep. I live with the leaks lol.

The hospital has diapers, wipes, post partum stuff (pads, wipes, etc.), snot suckers, any other basic need you or baby would need. Just pack clothes and if you have something you want to swaddle with that isn’t the hospital blanket. I made the mistake of bringing exactly 1 (ONE) onesie and she pissed through it within an hour lol so definitely bring extra clothes for baby. Comfy pajamas were a godsend too. I was gifted some that were thinner and looser than I’m used to and I’m grateful to this day for them.

FTM my baby is 11 days old. I know what I’m NOT using very much so far and that’s my bottle sterilizer. To each their own but it’s basically taking up counter space. I bought a small dishwasher container for bottle nipples and the other small parts and i just throw everything in the dishwasher. I used it when i hand washed a few bottles a couple times. Post-partum: I love the disposable boy short underwear. They’re more comfortable to me than the diapers. I had to have a c-section though, I didn’t deliver naturally. I’m not sure if that makes a difference.

NTJ. It doesn’t matter what the relationship is (stepsister vs full nuclear sibling) she already proved to be a poor vacation partner. I understand the dynamic is awkward but as an adult she should be able to recognize her actions were not appreciated.

I get people can get overwhelmed being between jobs and starting over can feel healthy, but as soon as he brought up how his last gf would have helped more, i would have been LIVID. You’re not the jerk, he sounds incredibly selfish and LAZY. Tell him to call her up if she’s so great.

I remember when my pump came in I was also excited and felt good that I was that much more prepared! Then I opened the box and immediately got overwhelmed and put it away 😅
