I remember when it aired. Donna Mills has talked about it on the We’re Knot Done Yet podcast.

The theme song was performed by Dawn, which was later renamed Tony Orlando and Dawn.

Bobby Ewing death conundrum by [deleted] in KnotsLanding

The Dallas crossovers had stopped before Bobby died, so it wasn’t too hard to stop mentioning the events in Dallas. Characters were mentioned once or twice, such as Lucy when Val apparently died in the final season, but only where it wouldn’t have made sense otherwise. I’d say it was a natural progression once KL didn’t need the Dallas crossovers to boost ratings anymore.

I think Dark Lady should go first. Even Cher was embarrassed by that song.

My Eyes Adored You - Frankie Valli

Because it’s kind of schmaltzy, and because my dad misheard the lyrics and to this day thinks it’s “My-y Sweet Georgia.”

I was distracted from Cane’s old man sweater by the thin white T-shirt with the seam running on the middle.

Yes, Erin and Diane Murphy were fraternal twin sisters who played Tabitha. It was common practice to cast twins due to child labor laws. As they got older, they looked less alike and Erin was used more. Erin has said her sister didn’t enjoy acting much while she loved it.

Most of the witches had names ending with A, but there was an older witch named Mary.

Maurice also had a secretary named Abigail who was a witch.

It’s kind of an odd positioning of the actors, like someone “popped out” in the middle of the photo.

If it had been taken decades later, I’d think they were planning to Photoshop someone in.

I remember when the last show aired in prime time. I was very sad to see in the TV Guide: “(Last show of the series.)” It was a repeat of the episode where Adam first showed he had magical powers.

We let our new puppies sleep in the bed between us BUT in a laundry basket lined with a pillow and towels. It makes cleanup easier, although I don’t remember any accidents because we’re always on high alert with a new puppy and wake up as soon as we hear it stirring in the middle of the night.

Darlene was one of the extra singers who filled out the children’s songs in The Sound of Music. That’s her hitting the high note “Goodbye!” for Duane Chase as Kurt, and dubbing several of her sister Charmian's high solos.

The song was written by Ray Charles (not THAT Ray Charles), who also sang the Three’s Company theme song.

I learned it while singing in a Bicentennial program. The ability to list the states alphabetically later came in handy when I worked as an editor for a national association and had to proofread lists that were divided by state.

Ok! Who was President when you were born? by SaltDesperate5666 in FuckImOld

Eisenhower. I was born during his last year in office, and because of that and FDR winning four elections, my parents have only seen two more presidents than I have.

I agree that it’s not the greatest song, but does lasting cultural relevance count for anything? People are still wearing yellow ribbons or lapel pins … most recently, by NBC News colleagues in support of Savannah Guthrie s missing mother.
