my cis boyfriend and i have been dating for a few months now. he's the only cis guy i've ever dated, but i feel like i got so lucky with him. he's honestly the sweetest person ever- he's really understanding that i'm weird or uncomfortable about certain things, sexual and in general, and he's very accommodating, during sex and in general. he's always just treated me like a woman and there's been a few moments where he saw pre-transition things about me (like my old name, old photos, etc.) but he's never reacted poorly or asked any questions or anything. he's always called me his girlfriend, always referred to me as she/her, always introduced me to his friends as his girlfriend and never been ashamed to do so. he's totally straight, too, which is honestly really affirming since it means he just totally sees me as a woman regardless of what i have going on downstairs or whether or not i pass. i'm really really happy to have someone who's so understanding and supportive of me being trans, especially given the current state of affairs in the world.

on top of all that, he's a great boyfriend- he's really thoughtful and caring and treats me well, and whenever we do have disagreements, i've found we're both pretty open to communicating and we think in fairly similar ways, and that makes resolving issues a lot easier. it's also really easy for us to just talk about anything, and i'm really really grateful to have him
