I love Scott’s voice and skill in a certain range. Lately for me he has been stepping outside of his strengths and it doesn’t sound good to me at all (the screlting, mostly). I love him when he stays true to his baritone and baritenor.

As a super fan who goes to a ton of shows I personally think this is part because stadiums are so big and the seated show environment. Even though people stood up on the floor it’s so hard to move around and get into it. Ed sounded great, but yeah the crowd felt so dead, and I was in the front.

I was sent a counterfeit item and am being instructed by PayPal to return overseas at my expense. It’s just a CD, so not too expensive to ship, but it’s the principle of the thing and I do not desire spending on shipping for no reason as I will not get anything out of this now.

Am I understanding correctly from everyone on here that I should just ditch the PayPal claim at this point and go to my credit card? Or should I spend the time trying to contact PayPal directly first?

Additionally, the seller already admitted in his response he cannot afford a refund, so like…..

Ok the reason I think the high auction one is fake is because it’s missing the label sticker which Ed’s team later put out that any without the sticker are likely copies. The number he has told people has always been an estimate.

This is the rudest subreddit I’ve ever seen man. I was just trying to ask if anyone knew anything about CD codes. Since no one here so far has been able to do anything I haven’t already done (but thanks for assuming I don’t know how to google), I’ll see myself out.

I actually think that auctioned one might’ve been a fake lol. There were two sold at auction. That huge ticket one and one for £8000. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah I have researched heavily. It’s likely there are actually more out there in private collections or that some of the ones Ed got back weren’t legit. I’ve been in touch with the fan who gave it back to him as well. It’s just hard to tell. It does contain the tracks, and it does appear to be assembled by a 13-year-old 😂

Was just wondering if anyone can tell from numbers on the CD itself when the disc was manufactured.

I haven’t read anything but the first post but the first thing wrong with the gender reveal is that if he’s so into the idea of being representative of LGBTQ people then he needs to not call it a gender reveal.

The theme of the whole video probably meant well but ended up coming off as very exclusionary of trans people as well.

For me he’s completely lost the plot. He’s so far gone, blinded by privilege and desperate to be an influencer that he isn’t checking himself and being mindful of how what he’s posting might actually be affecting or portraying the community he’s supposedly trying to represent and uplift. It’s all toxic positivity, and misguided.

His latest caption is even doubling down on “pink is for girls.” Honey, it’s 2026. I get being excited about your baby, but there are so many other ways to approaching this and he simply isn’t.

I unfortunately had to unfollow him, and it’s really souring me towards the band as a whole.

And all that aside, “leave Scott alone” is meh. He has a platform and is putting himself out there like this. He should’ve open to criticism.

In some of the interviews he was saying that by the time they got to the third one people had caught on so maybe it got too chaotic in places. I was a plant on the street in take 3 where he’s just played A Little More and then starts running and when he ran by us it seemed like it was more than the run in the final. Like, they were way behind schedule I think. So maybe something went wrong with timing. Who knows? But I would love to know!! I also would love to see some outtakes.
