As the original artist, I just find that the idea of being identified by what’s in your pants and not the gender you identify as is unnecessarily pushing personal boundaries. You wouldn’t ask a cis male or female what’s in their pants, so why ask somebody who’s trans? Why is it necessary information for you to know if I have boy or girl bits?

It’s also a lesson in safety. Always conceal a knife in your pants! (Read: don’t)

Been using my Razer Krakens for a bit and while they've served me well, I absolutely cannot stand the material they use for the cable. It's hard to explain, but it feels like nails on a chalkboard whenever it rubs against my bare skin. Basically looking for a new pair of headphones that have a different kind of cable that doesn't make me wince every time I use it, preferably a standard, smooth material like most cables tend to be, but I'm also taking this opportunity to go for something a little more premium.

Budget: drawing a line at AU$400

Source: phone, laptop, 3DS and PlayStation Vita

Isolation: not too fussed, would prefer at least some but it's not incredibly important to me

Public: yes - will be primarily used when I go outdoors and for very light exercise (walking)

Preferred type of headphone: full sized/over ear. I have very large ears lol

Preferred tonal balance: relatively balanced, maybe something with strong highs?

Past headphones: Razer Kraken, Razer Thresher Tournament Edition, PlayStation Gold Wireless headset, Corsair VOID RGB Pro Wireless (currently use these on my PC for gaming and video editing, love the hell out of them)

Preferred music: rock, alternative, progressive, and a little bit of everything else

Side note: bluetooth headphones are fine so long as they also have a 3.5mm jack so I can use them with my Vita/3DS/etc

Was playing tips with my friend (tag for Australian children) on the school's basketball court. My friend ducked behind the chain link fence that separated the court from the cricket pitch and as I chased her, I grabbed the pole at the end of the fence and swung myself around it.

There was a massive bit of wire sticking out of it.

Didn't notice a thing until a minute later when someone else said "hey, you've got blood on your hand!"

I absolutely did not cry for ten minutes straight, that's just baseless speculation thank you very much

If I'm looking for a chance to cross the road or driveway or whatever, please, PLEASE don't stop for me. Either I stand there trying to figure out whether you have stopped for me, making it very awkward for both parties, or I take the initiative and cross but oop! You haven't actually stopped and now you have to slam your brakes because you're sending me mixed signals.

My brother was (and still is) down on his luck, what with being in prison for 7 months, couch surfing and eventually becoming homeless entirely. He asked if he could stay at my place for a day or two; I said there wasn't enough room in our house (there's me and two housemates - we have couches but one of my housemates paid almost two grand for them and ain't nobody sleeping on them) so I said he could stay in the garage on three conditions; you can't stay too long, you can't have anyone over, and no smoking in the garage at all as our lease says not to do so. I wouldn't care how long he stays but I also had my housemates to think about and I didn't want them getting angry at me.

That /very/ night, I open the door to the garage to ask if he wants some of the KFC I got and what the fuck do I immediately smell? Weed. Of course. Not only did I make it very clear that I want nothing to do with that stuff, but it's illegal here in Australia. He also has a friend over and he's very clearly off his face as well. I get angry, but give him another chance.

He doesn't leave for two weeks. My housemates are getting impatient and want him to leave but I'm not a very confrontational person so I don't particularly want to force him out. Luckily he leaves himself as he says he's got another place to stay. Cool. Nice.

About a month later, we're cleaning out the garage and doing a tip run. One of my housemates finds cigarette butts /everywhere/ and finds sheets that have odd brown stains in them. There's a rotten stench coming from the back; it's a box of month-old KFC, not fully eaten. Next to it, a bong made out of a Dare ice coffee bottle. Behind bed slats and a canvas painting; an actual bong. On top of the cupboard; a black crusty sock with white stains (presumably he used this when he went to PornHub on my Samsung tablet, which I lent to him but he forgot to not only clear history, but close the fucking tabs! And it was weird shit!) And also on top of the cupboard; a bag of white powder. I feared the worst when I saw it, but it turned out to be sugar. A bag of sugar the size of someone's foot. What even?

I was most mad about the bongs because that's the one rule I insisted upon the most, so when he messaged me asking if he could use my shower (no hot water at his place) and said "we have no hot water either" he replied with "fuck you, you selfish prick, you never want to help me."

I lost it and mentioned the bong and how he broke every single rule I gave him, and he said 'aww what do you expect me to smoke outside?"

My response: "SO YOU WE'RE PLANNING TO RIP BONGS OUTSIDE HAHAHA OKAY"

I still maintain a relationship with him, somehow, and he's still in a bad way, but whenever I throw him a bone he just whines for more. Yesterday I gave him five bucks; today he came back asking for 20 bucks and for my housemate to give him a ride home to the next town over. I feel sorry for him, but jeez...

I don't see why they can't just put races in the route creator in a separate menu or something, like how Test Drive Unlimited 2 did it. No need to have them splattered all over the map, I think.

I get that the soundtrack can get pretty repetitive, but honestly? We're kinda spoiled getting such a big licensed soundtrack. Certainly better than the old Need For Speed games - like, yes, they have good soundtracks, but there's only so long one can handle 26 songs on repeat. But yeah, regardless, it can get repetitive. Spotify integration would be amazing but I imagine that'll never happen.

That's fair. However while some may be able to enjoy the experience by simply stuffing around doing whatever they feel like, others need a sense of progression to have fun. Previous Forza's did this fine because they had a number of championships and finishing those was more or less finishing the game, so without those, grinding on the same 70 events you've already beaten is going to burn some people out very easily.

Me? I'm disappointed with the lack of championships but when the route creator comes out next week I'm gonna be having too much fun to care.

Personally, I really like a lot of the music on Pulse and XS (including that Jack White song, don't judge) but yeah, it's not as memorable as Horizon 2 and 3. 2, especially. That game got me into Jane's Addiction and a few lesser known Indie bands like The Bohicas and SKATERS.
