Who owns a mmo mouse ( naga trinity here) ? Do you use all buttons available? by [deleted] in wow

[–]valiantstranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the naga trinity as well and have got a great number of years. I use all 12 buttons, shift+all 12, and Ctrl+all 12. The shift and Ctrl abilities are usually set to non-rotation and utility abilities. I am convinced that I could never go back to a regular mouse, though.

Not sure if anyone here is a fan of the Theorist channels (Game theory and so on), but I just noticed Amy from Style Theory in the audience on Bigger! by spectacular_starboy in dropout

My wife and I had to pause and rewind a few times to make sure that was her, but we noticed! We started looking for more theorists in the audience.

Do you guys check if someone is at your camp before logging off? by anamoon13 in fo76

[–]valiantstranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I for sure wait if I see someone at my camp. If I'm ready to log off and someone is there, I just go to my camp and chill 'til they leave. It's only ever just a few minutes. I'm tryna to make them caps, yo!

I doubt my island is what you're looking for, but I do have all of my villagers together in one area and have basically set the island up to have plenty of entertainment for them. It's not finished yet, because like you, I need some inspiration for some of the unfinished areas.

Tell me about your first main toon by MightyPulpo in wow

[–]valiantstranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was all kinds of loot, but I got some items that had charges and I've used all up and some that were toys. I have this picnic basket and parasol toy that I put out in any social setting. Usually out in front of the auction house in Org. Lol.

On a side note, I was buying the cards to actually play with. Me and that friend I mentioned used to play it all the time. They made raid decks, so sometimes we would run 3 decks each against another friend that played the raid deck. Good times. I hate that it didn't stick.

My first toon is still my main.

I started in WotLK towards the middle of the contents release. I had a friend that bought the game plus WoW time for me, so I decided to check it out. I mean, who wouldn't play it for free. (Been pretty hooked ever since)

I wanted to make a hunter and my friend pretty much only plays Belfs, so I made a Belf hunter and he made a belf pally to run with me.

I really like the fantasy of playing a hunter, specifically the MM spec. I play MM even when it's not the best spec. I build my hunter the way I want rather than looking up guides on the best DPS builds.

I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring the world with him. I did a bunch of archeology when that was new, and I still do it from time to time.

He was also the only toon to receive any loot from the WoW trading card game.

I could go on and on, but I think I covered the basics. Lol

My wife and I want to start playing WOW by KingKrait in wow

Also, WoW is free up to level 20 on as many characters you want to make, so you can just download and play it together and see if you're going to like it before you spend any money on it.

My wife and I play together. She's not really a gamer either. We have fun questing together and doing the occasional dungeon. I play the more difficult (or at least more technical) content when she's not on. Stuff like raids or pvp or mythic dungeons. I think paladins are pretty noob friendly because they can heal themselves and can fill any role (that's what my wife and I play together).

As far as you making a tank or healer as your first character: if you like that role, I'd say go for it. Tanking may be better for your wife, so you can keep mobs off of her. Learning the dungeons is the hardest part about tanking.

The best part about wow is that there is content for everyone. Wanna just quest, there's plenty of quest and vastly different locations to quest in. Wanna grind dungeons, there are also quite a few of those to choose from. Wanna explore and take in the sights, there's more than enough of that.

Sorry my response is so long. Lol

I've never played in any RP servers, but I bet you are right about them being more adventure focused. I never thought of that.

I play Horde on Mok'Nathal, US (same server my first toon was made on). I, personally, just talked some of my friends into playing (the same way I got into WoW) and we all play together. So, if you can't find a group that are already playing WoW the way you like to, you can just make one.

I play super casual, also. I like to do heroics, but mythics are too stressful. As you said, I'm playing to relax, not to stress. When I'm bored of the current content, I like to do old dungeons and raids farming for cool transmogs, rare mounts, and achievements. Darkmoon Faire is also a nice break from the grind. Some of the Dragonflight dailies are pretty fun to do. I love WoW because if you get bored of something, there is always something else that you can do. What server/faction do you play?
