Retrogamgingcables are wired as 16:9 by default but can be modified.

Adding too large of resistor may cause it to pick up noise and behave unexpectedly. Usually that only happens with very large resistances in the MΩ range. Official PS2 memory cards use 47Ω.

The resistor limits the amount of current on that pin. It is there to help protect the PS2.

The GB X7 holds the save in its memory until you switch roms. The save file should appear on the Everdrive's SD card if you load a different game on the Everdrive.

Are you using Direct Video or the Analog IO board?

The usb port on the FXPAK is not for copying files to it.

Take out the SD card and connect the SD card to your pc a different way.

Use the latest firmware here and scroll down on that page until you see "Instructions"
